This is a city not far from Split but a world away. It's a UNESCO World Heritage Site that is a stunning medival city. Inside the walls are amazing romanesque and renaissance structures that will keep you saying "Wow" for hours. The seaside promenade is also beautiful. More

When I planned our trip to Croatia and Bosnia-Herzegovina, I insisted we stay two nights in Togir because of how lovely it looked in the photos. Someone I know who happened to be a travel agent who had been there told me that Trogir was not really worth an overnight stay. I did not believe her and was swayed by... More

We took a little boat to Trogir for the afternoon, an hour from Split. It is worth a visit! Very charming and historic! Had a lovely lunch in a wonderful setting! More

My wife and I visited Trogir by day and night, on foot, by cycle and by boat (would have tried the busses, but didn'tdue to erratic timings). Trogir is split into 3 parts: If you arrive on foot or bycar/bus you will arrive on the mainland side which is where you will find the daily market (7 days a week... More

We were recommended to stay here rather then Split. So very glad we did as it was one of the highlights of our visit. Walking over the bridge into a magical stone [ the very palest pink] cobblestone fairytale village with little laneways and when you walk through you come out to the sparking blue sea . It is such... Just outside Split is this wonderful little historic site called Trogir. It takes about 2 hours to visit the main parts of the site. It has churches, shops and charm. Do not miss it. More

I was working in Croatia during the war. A friend invited me to a wedding in Trogir and dispite a torrential rainstorm that nearly kept us away, we arrived at the beautiful, centuries old church only to have all the electricty go out in the whole city. While we stood in the dark, nuns came and lit candles along the... More
