We were surprised to stumble across this exhibition and I couldn't resist taking my 10 year old son in. It's mainly a small collection of some of his pottery and the odd printed poster. Although not the best or most inspiring display of the great man's work, it was a pleasant 15 minutes. Costs were 40kn for me and free... More

I was intrigued to see the poster outside the museum in this small town advertising a Picasso exhibition. It transpired that it was a small collection of his ceramics. Although I love a lot of Picasso’s work ceramics is not one of my favourite medium but there were some pieces worth seeing and I enjoyed seeing the posters he designed... More

I visited the Dali exhibition which was rather poor and contained no well known famous Dali work but instead a load of his prints. I didn't expect the entire Dali collection but at least some of his more well known work would have been worth the visit.

Went in to see the Dali exhibition as enjoy some of his more well known art pieces (clocks flowing over steps etc.). The whole exhibition is based on two time periods of his and other than that there is nothing else. Yes it's interesting to see how he built up his printed version but was really hoping to see some... More

Besides the nice exhibitions in the ground floor and on the first floor, the current highlight if this museum is the Dali exhibition. It lasts util October 5. The exhibition displays Dali's works for the Divine Comedy and for the Bible. Very impressive to learn how Dali's printing technique actually works. As the museum is open at night (18-22 when... Great Dali exhibition on until 5th Oct 2014, see website. http://www.muzej-rovinj.com/HRV/novosti/novost.asp?dogadajId=1000 Also two very atmospheric photographic exhibitions on the ground floor giving an insight into Rovinj history.

This place consists of two levels of display .the first level ( second floor ) displays mainly works from post war . Some interesting pieces but badly displayed . Turning on the lights would help . On the second level ( third floor ) the works are from the 17th-19th century . I didn't see much that interested me but... More
