I was intrigued to see the poster outside the museum in this small town advertising a Picasso exhibition. It transpired that it was a small collection of his ceramics. Although I love a lot of Picasso’s work ceramics is not one of my favourite medium but there were some pieces worth seeing and I enjoyed seeing the posters he designed... More

I visited the Dali exhibition which was rather poor and contained no well known famous Dali work but instead a load of his prints. I didn't expect the entire Dali collection but at least some of his more well known work would have been worth the visit.

Great Dali exhibition on until 5th Oct 2014, see website. http://www.muzej-rovinj.com/HRV/novosti/novost.asp?dogadajId=1000 Also two very atmospheric photographic exhibitions on the ground floor giving an insight into Rovinj history.

This place consists of two levels of display .the first level ( second floor ) displays mainly works from post war . Some interesting pieces but badly displayed . Turning on the lights would help . On the second level ( third floor ) the works are from the 17th-19th century . I didn't see much that interested me but... More
