If you like wandering with no purpose exploring architectural details this is the place for you. Its a car free old town lined with cobble stone alleyways and piazzas filled with restaurants of fresh sea food and souvenir shops. Walk up all the way to saint Euphemia cathedral where you can see stunning views of the Adriatic.

The old town with its narrow streets and old buildings, sourrounded by the sea is really charming and because of its relaxed atmosphere also very romantic. A number of cities along the Croatian cost feature a old city, but none of them is comparable, every single one has its own flair. Rovinj is definitely among the best.

Extensive Old Town with shops from quality to typical souvenirs. All types of restaurant selections, beautiful harbor, multiple entertainment at night. Crowded at night and parking was tight.

Amazing and really fascinating, preserved old town with numerous streets, surrounded by the sea ... many restaurants and small shops, still charming and romantic. Worth a visit especially at night ...nice view from the top near the church!

Old town of Rovinj is very picturesque and romantisk small town with small alleys and small boutique shops. Of course most of the shops are very touristic but there are some art & crafts shops among them. Easy also to find good restaurants with local food.

little winding streets all leading up to euphaemia's basilica. lots of shops open till late. loads of alley bars to sit and relax and people watch. ice cream parlours, restaurants serving allsorts and loads of pizza restaurants. we watched a five piece group on the outdoor stage in middle of town for no charge plus salsa dancers outside the bank.... When entering the city tourism at its worst might scare you off. But once in the old town, especially when you'll avoid the main routes, you'll discover the beauty of this old, Italian-like village. Streets are steep and slippery, so make sure to wear shoes fit for the job. Loved going there.

Great restaurants, shops, icecream parlours. Street artists, lots of entertainment and a short stroll to the beach with a beautiful harbour. Loved it.

Rovinj is a beautiful seaside town in northern Croatia. Its plentiful backstreets and winding alleys house countless atmospheric restaurants, small boutiques and bars. An evening in the town of Rovinj is a lovely experience. Its surrounding beaches are not of the sandy type.
