number one 'to see' in Croatia. neck to neck with island Hvar. food is great. Hotel LONE is the best
Beautiful old town with wall and also here are some Venetian influences from old times. In the center there is the harbor on a big square
Rovinj was scenic, and our tour group stopped here in March. But the main attraction, theChurch of St. Euphemia, was closed, as was the bell tower. It was hard to find a restaurant or shop that was open; all we found were a couple of neighborhood bars. I like avoiding the tourist rush, but this was like a ghost town.... More
Beautiful little town with artistic soul... throught all year Rovinj is crowded with tourists (positive affections). Lot of excellent places for having amazing time with a glass of perect Istrian wine and fresh see food... mmmm, beutiful small streets through whole old town that are leading to the top (uphill) full of small art galeries and souvenir shops. We are... More

Lovely cobblestone streets, many art "galleries" or ateliers usually open during tourist season, but not in February! Can't really give a better description, but the streets were picturesque!
it was my first visit old town has very nice atmosphere, nero streets, friendly people, you must go up with funicular,it is also experience
Rovinj is a very quaint little city. Make sure you walk up the hill to the church and while you are walking up enjoy the the architecture of the homes. We stopped by the local market and purchased white and black truffle oil and black truffles in oil.
Step back in time and lose yourself in Rovinj's old town. A warren of little alleys and lanes, and a haven of delightful gift-shops, artists studios and tavernas to explore and enjoy. The view from the top at the Church square is just paradise on Earth, then come back down the alleyways and lanes of the other side. It's like... More
Such a lovely place! Cobbled streets, great local art, fabulous sunsets on the harbour, amazing restaurants and friendly people. Easy to get around and many things to see and do. There are also resorts close by for people who want to have some 'chill time' by a pool. A really good place to spend some time.
