Lots of cobbled streets to wend your way through, with plenty of shops, bars and restaurants. Views are breath taking and plenty of boat trips to go on.

Loved the ocean setting, the tiny steep streets, the excellent food and wine on the rocks as the sun goes down. What a beautiful place Rovinj is!

After five days in Budapest, Rovinj is a wonderful change. No hustle bustle, no madding crowds, beautiful seaside cafes and restaurants, great boat trips, and a wonderful place to relax for a few days. We rented a two story house just minutes from the port, and the port itself is a great surprise. It has two sides with more restaurants... More

A perfect way to spend a couple of hours is to walk in the old town, buy some souvernirs to bring back homr and yo stay for a cup of coffee. Afterwards walk around in the charming harbour, buy an ice cream and enjoy the cute little town and its friendly inhabitants.

There are not enough words in my vocabulary to describe the beauty in Rovinj. Situated on the Adriatic Sea it is simply beautiful. Very, very romantic town to walk in with lovely boutiques, fantastic historic treasures, delightful food and pristine waters!

Lovely town for shopping - many craft and art shops. Seaside dining, or dining in the Old Town were lovely with many restaurants to choose from. Views from many of the restaurants were dazzling, especially at sunset.

During our stay we walked into Rovinj from Hotel Monte Mulani sometimes twice a day. About 20 minutes. Sometimes just to relax and have a drink or some lunch and watch the world go by. Every night we walked in to eat in the many restaurants in the Old Town. Explore the quaint streets and choose some of the restaurants... More

Best to visit in September, when the number of tourists is less than in the summer. Similar to small Italian towns

Beautiful place to visit. We went here a good couple of times and the Old Town is amazing to explore. Great photo oportunities are available and there are boat trips to enjoy that also set off from the port.

From the water Rovinj old town looks most enticing. The cathedral tower is only for those comfortable with distinctly rickety steps of ladder type!
