One of the most beautiful cities

How should I say - not as popular as Dubrovnik, but with better restaurants in the city and surroundings and better infrastructure in the suburbs.

Charming place to spend your time. Small narrows streets remind me a bit italian or even Portuguese style.

One of the most beautiful little towns I've ever visited. If you are in Istria (which is beautiful itself) visit Rovijn as it is quite the little town.

The old town is steeped in history and has fascinating views and attractions peeping around every corner. It was fun to explore the old cobbled streets with quaint and narrow alley-ways There are lots of Artist gallery and many fascinating shops selling paintings, glassware and accessories and much more. Nestled along the cobbled streets are many restaurants with outside seating;... More

This is a quaint little old town with many little streets and alley ways to explore. Once you are away from the dock, the souvenir shops dwindle and the streets become narrow and slope up towards the church. The church tower is well worth a visit, you can get to the top and the view is spectacular. We also bought... More

Influenced by the venetians the old Town is very romantic, calm and relaxing this time of the year (April 2015). It reminds me of the greek island of Corfu or the port of Rethymnon in Crete. Same colors, same architecture.

A charming town of Rovinj, very nice for wondering around. Just walk and walk around and look up and down. You will see colorful buildings, narrow streets, pets, people, ….

This was my favorite town on the Istrian Peninsula. The influence of the Venetians is strongly apparent as you enter the town along the water and see the line of houses adjacent to one another rising out of the water. Make sure to walk up the hill to the church on the top. On a clear day climb the bell... More

A charming little town of Rovinj is like made purposefully to walk around and look around. Nice, colorful buildings, friendly people, very clean and neat. The fresh air has the sea-scent. We even enjoyed walking around it when it rained. The small and narrow streets between the old houses are not my cup of tea, but my wife loved it.... More
