Walk around the old town stopping by the food market and sample truffle oil. It's delicious. Cocktails around the port at the most upmarket places are £5 or get a beautiful icecream for 0 .60 pence walking around the town. Doesn't really matter what Restaurant you go to because they are all pretty good. Seafood pasta or truffle dishes are... More

Romantic and peaceful...you can rest your eyes there from lovely infrastructure...it has a bit of Italian in it, but with sea and sun it is even better

The old town is a fantastic looking piece of old architecture, though it now serves as little more than a tourist trap with expensive souvenir shops, fast foods and expensive mediocre restaurants at every step.

We have been visiting different towns and cities driving north from Split. So far, Rovinj is our favorite. The Old Town has a lovely ambience. As all coastal towns it is touristy and commercial, yet, there is a calm beauty that you feel walking around the winding streets and harbour area.

Perfect, picturesque place with plenty to do. Excellent place for holiday Base. Great marina, at the end of august the rovinj festival was on and there were live bands and fireworks in the square.

charming walk through the old city, exquisite colours and small, family run shops. Take your time to walk up to the old church at the top of the city to enjoy quite a delightful view! Tip: walk with comfy shoes: all the streets are tight and paved with slippery, uneven stone floor!

For me Rovinj is one of the most beautiful and colorful cities in Croatia and in Istria is definetely the most beautiful.Charming little, narrow streets full with galerries, handmade jewellery stores,restaurants,...You can get lost wondering around the streets for hours, but you will not get lost because everything is small and near to each other with streets in form of a labirint.I reccomend...
