I like to walk in small old streets in Rovinj. If you will visit it now (November) you will be almost alone on streets which is sometimes also good, you can spot some details on buildings which you will deffenetly miss in summer time. But if you walk here in summer time you will see a lot live on streets,... More

Rovinj is a beautiful town, it has beautiful old building that are well preserved . Narrow roads will lead you to the Marine walk, a spacious place surrounds by great restaurants, a beautiful fountain and great sea views. There are car parking for a minimal fee. Truly a stunning city!

Rovinj is a beautiful town in Istria. A very romantic place with steep, winding streets and pastel-coloured houses. Shops and bars line the harbour, a harbour full of fishing boats as Rovinj is still a fishing village. The Old town is delightful. Leave the car in the big parking place just outside the towns limit (free of charge) and walk... More

Heavy fog in the past couple days but we went ahead for a November visit anyway. We were definitely there out of season as most shops and restaurants were closed. Somehow we enjoyed the calm and serenity nevertheless and took some stunning photos. We could only imagine what it would be like in the summer. Pity that doors of St... More

A place to visit in Croatia that's as relaxed as can be. There's minimal parties and lots of little knick knack shops to spend your time in, making it popular with the over 55's, which in fact is the age group that recommended we go here. Take a walk up the cobblestone streets to the Basilica. Also head around to... More

Rovinj has for ever been one of my favorite cities in Istra. It has a pretty large center/Old town. Park your car and stroll down the cobblestone paved streets. The city is clean and safe, plenty of stores and restaurants.

We stayed near to Rovinj in October - it was out of season but the atmosphere was still wonderful and we enjoyed pottering around the town and marina.

If you enjoy old architecture and cobblestone streets then Old Town is a must see. The cobblestone streets meander throughout the old town area. Most of the old town area is flat and other areas require going up many steps - especially if you are headed up to the old church. Along the streets there are many shops and restaurants.... More

Rovinj is definitely a place to visit if you are in Istria. Can easily spend 2-3 days wandering around the streets of Old Town. An enchanting town.
