a charming and relaxing coastal city in Istra. Friendly people, delicious seafood, shops are small but with style and things are just eyes catching

Very scenic - colourful old houses clinging onto the steep hill and topped with the beautiful cathedral of St. Euphemia. A steep climg to the top but well worth it. We couldn't stop taking photos!

The trip from our hotel was to "Little Venice" so I assumed it had waterways.... Seems I was the only one expecting this, an understandable mistake? LOL Anyway, once over the initial shock I enjoyed the trip to this pretty town. A couple of hours is probably enough unless your having a meal, plenty of nice looking restaurants to choose... More

Rovinj stands out along the Croatian coast for its coziness, its well preserved city centre and the great improvements in the tourist offer. There are plenty of small artisan shops and gallerias, selling hand-made artefacts, some of them really nice and original, not the tourist crap made in china.. In the old town on the peninsula there are also many... More

the old town of Rovinj is really worth a visit. Really pittoresk! One of the attractions is the fact that the town is traffic free, giving you free roaming of the town.

Rovinj is a magic small old pedestrian town with a lot of charm and places to eat, drink, buy a souvenir, is super nice. If you don't drive a car and stay here for a couple of days maybe I would recommend to stay on one of the hotels inside old town, with views to the sea...just keep in mind... More

How should I say - not as popular as Dubrovnik, but with better restaurants in the city and surroundings and better infrastructure in the suburbs.

I was surprised how beautiful this small village town, which turns out to be one of highlights of my Balkan trip the past Easter holiday. When me and my wife visited Rovinj, it was such a beautiful day with blue sunshine and wonderful weather. I would certainly recommend to stay in this beautiful town for a few days to fully... More
