Please note this attraction is quite a walk out of the main town and the re are only about 12 tanks exhibiting local fish.....there is one octopus and a cute lobster. Having said that they charge very little for entry

This is not the Monterey Bay Aquarium but it was a fun outing for an hour in Rovinj. If you walk right through you will be done in 10 minutes but if you spend some time looking carefully you will see some amazing sea life. There is a great moray eel exhibit and some really fascinating creatures in all the... More

We visited this place yesterday and it was such a disappointment. You have to pay 30 Kuna per person (about 4€) to see a tiny variety of fish. Furthermore some of them are more like stuffed into the tanks then beeing given an acceptable place to live. I would defintely not recommend going there. It is a waste of money... More

This has to be the smallest aquarium I have ever encountered. It's essentially a large house with a bunch of tanks. It's simply not worth the time or the money. You are better off to head into your local pet shop and walk past the lilttle aquarium tanks - it's roughly the same experience. There is a lot of other... More

Impressed by the aquarium building in Rovinj, we went to visit it. Even though the building is big, the exhibition is only in two rooms. It became clear after the first two water tanks that this is the aquarium from hell. Many tanks had dead fishes floating in them. Some other tanks had fishes feeding on other animals in the... More

great to be able to see some of the fish you can snorkel with on the local beaches and put a name to them, my daughters favourite was the octopus wich seemed to be showing off at the front of his tank, well worth the low entrance fee.

Because it is a small aquarium, we didn't rush and just passed by tanks, instead we took time to find all the creatures listed on the side of each of them. It was very interesting and fun. There are really a lot of amazing and beautiful creatures in there, and their labels are in four languages, which is great. Staff... More

The aquarium is without doubt the worst one I have visited. It can be visited in about 10 to 15 minutes as it is so small with about 15 tanks of fish within one average sized room. It may have been cheaper than other aquariums that I have visited in the past but was very disappointing.

OK so its little but it only costs about £2.50 to get in. There are probably about 15 or so tanks in there with a nice collection of local fish and sea creatures. Well labelled and presented, if you take your time and look closely there is more to see than you might initially expect. Spent about an hour in... More
