This is one of Porec’s Venetian-era towers, it is in a lovely location close to the waterfront and it once guarded the south-eastern section of the city.

We walked all the way up to the top of the tower for drinks but it was well worth the effort just for the views – they were spectacular.

This place is definitely not suitable for people with walking difficulties and the steps are quite steep.

After walking around Poreč old town, finding this place after walking down a narrow street was a nice surprise. We almost walked past it then noticed it was a bar. Being a little thirsty after our walk we managed the steep stairs to the inside bar. So quaint and cosy and I imagine quite crowded on an evening. We then went up a further set of steep narrow steps to the roof for views over the sea and old Poreč.

Service was good but the beer was better (after a hot walk). For an unusual place to have a drink this is as good as any.

We only stopped off for 1 but I imagine this place would be good for an evening watching the sun go down. But don't drink too much as the stairs down are as steep as they are coming up hahaha

Brilliant views over the coast, the Old Town and the boats when you sit up the top. The staff obviously know their stuff and the cocktails are to die for, you get exactly what you ask for.

Quaint little bar in the most fantastic old tower. Great service and good prices. Very steep stairs and watch your head!! The top is lovely to sit on top and watch the sunset, but if the weather is bad its great too sit downstairs inside. The seating is actually inside the window slits within the walls, really quirky. Reccomended

Beautiful views by day or night from the seating area on the roof. Inside the tower lovely little private alcoves to sit in.

Loved the experience of the round tower, a great place to have a drink, there is a very narrow steep staircase to climb to get to the open top roof cafe/bar but worth it for the fab views of the bay and the service was great

What a shame, spent one hour in this tower enjoying the setting and the service on our first day. Returned four days later to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary and was forced to wait whilst tables had seats available at them. When joining a couple who invited us to sit with them, we were removed and told by the manager that we cannot sit until he seat us. He proceeded to move people across table sizes and seating arrangements inconveniently and at his own wishes. When challenged by his decisions, he rudely spoke to customers and in some case refused to serve them. When I asked why we could not sit at the table with another couple we had started to chat with, h stated it was his bar and that he makes decisions and promptly asked us to leave his bar refusing to serve us. We were deeply upset. Other customers challenged him stating he is behaving badly. We are not on our own in saying do not give your custom o this business.

We went in here a couple of times.
It's a great experience to walk up the steps
of this old tower and have a view of the town.
If you are visiting this town it's a must.
