We loved this park on a cool but sunny spring day - the water was high and the still wintery wilderness showed the park and waterfalls in true naked form. The start of spring flowers along the track and in the woodlands were beautiful as were the patches of winter snow. Upper park was still closed at this time of... More

We visited in March and happened to get hit by a snow storm that day. But in a way I think it just made the place more beautiful. There were some paths that were unfortunately closed off to us do to weather, but this place was absolutely amazing!! It is a must see for sure. It is incredible that places... More

The walking around the lakes and the waterfalls were stunning. A little confusing due to lack of sign to figure out just where to go. We had figured out which part we were doing first and second. Somewhere ended up doing the second part from the opposite direction we started. That ended up being good too because there were fewer... More

We were only there a short time (around 2 hours) as it was the middle of winter and we had arrived just after lunch. Snow covered the Park and it was quite exquisite to see. The lower boardwalks were close due to ice. The waterfalls were absolutely stunning and I would have liked to have gone down onto those boardwalks... More

This is easily one of the most spectacular things I have ever seen. It is absolutely breathtaking! The water is beautiful, the surroundings are serene. It is worth every single cent! Oh, and the ride to Plitvice is incredibly beautiful!

One of the world's most beautiful and pristine nature walks one can imagine. The Plitvice Jezera (lakes) is a walk among falling waters and lakes that at each step delights the eyes and takes the breath away--but not too much because the air is delightfully invigorating.

This is, quite honestly, one of the most amazing and beautiful places I've ever visited. I'm from Alaska, so I see natural beauty every day, but the interconnected lakes and waterfalls are simply amazing!! It is worth any effort to visit.

The great thing about going in March is that there are no crowds at all - we didn't even pay for parking. On the downside because there had been a lot of snow the upper lakes were closed and we couldn't walk on certain of the paths. The lakes are beautiful and well worth visiting. Your entry ticket includes riding... More

Plitvice is a series of descending lakes with water flowing through forest between the lakes. Utterly fantastic and as yet uncommercialized. The wooden pathways through the park (often passing over flowing water) seem insubstantial, yet are crafted with exceptional care. An absorbing, unforgettable destination worth two days of travel to see.
