Such a beatiful national park! Totally worth a visit! When you arrive, don't be fooled by the queue that you might find. At the first station, there is another ticket office! Then you will have an awesome experience. Waterfall, Lakes, Snakes, Ducks and Fishes! In order to visit the park imho it is better to arrive early in the morning... More

I´ve been wanting to visit Plitvice lakes for years and I have to say I definetely wasn´t disappointed. Even though the price is quite high (180 HRK), it is definetely worth the visit. You can walk around the are for hours and also use a "train" and a boat once during your visit. Everything si well organized. The only thing... More

The lakes are waterfalls are just stunning. If I was to visit Croatia again this place would certainly be on my to do list, An amazing... More

Plitvice National Park and Lakes was the main reason that made me choose Croatia for my hollidays this year. Really i enjoyed every minute in this heaven on earth. Our group-leader pay the entry-fees for all of us, so was much more easier as hundrets of people are visiting the place. I feel very lucky having this experience and i... More

Even with the cloud cover, forgetting to bring a sweater, and the steep entry fee (180 Kn pp!), our visit to Plitvice lakes was outstanding. Two and a half hours of driving from Split, leaving at 8AM, got us to the entrance of the park. After getting our park tickets, which include bus and boat transport within the park, we... More

Have to be seen to be believed ...! Take note though - there had been lots of rain prior to (and during!) our visit, and many of the paths were underwater, so take water shoes or be prepared to go barefoot on the stoney paths!

16 lakes and nearly 200 waterfalls- not 2 of them are identical! Put on a good pair of shoes (some shores can be muddy and even under a thin layer of water) and see each of them. Try to plan your visit on a weekday and arrive early ( opens at 7!) to see birds and squirrels.

The nature is stunning, of course, but I was most disappointed with the attitude of the workers in the park. There was a long queue in front of the cash register where you buy the tickets. The waiting time was about 1 hour and when you got close to the register you could see that there was another register where... More

These lakes are a sight to behold. Every inch of your body wants to run and jump into the beautiful chalky blue waters! It is such a shame that of course you can not, due to the lakes being a world heritage site. It is protected and a fragile ecosystem. I have been told by many other people who we... More

The "Plitvicka Jezera" national park is simply amazing. More than 10 lakes one above the other with waterfalls between every pair of lakes creating stunning scenery. Beautiful fauna and flora. Clear water through which one can clearly see the fish! Being in the peak season of school holidays, the park was full between 10:00 and 16:00 but was much quieter... More
