Its incredible! I shall visit it again probably in another season... it changes each moment... in the morning has a look, in the evening another one... Lakes, waterfalls, springs, with an incredible pure water, clean, however hundreds of visitors in each moment of the day.. Well organized, polite and helpful staff... What ever to say,,,

What an awesome experience. Would go again in a heartbeat. Breath taking falls, pristine water. You literally "walk on water." We had an awesome time just touring on our own. It was just absolutely gorgeous! Came in from Zagreb. The bus ride was nice. Got to see the country side! Stayed at Hotel Jezero. The walk isn't that bad from... More

A few google images will show you that this park is gorgeous, but you really must go there yourself to grasp the fully amazing beauty of it! It is filled with stunning waterfalls (both big and small) throughout the entire park! I would recommend starting at Entrance 2 and doing the top lakes first (take the boat from P1 to... More

If you love long leisure walks and love to see waterfall after waterfall, do make a stop at this amazing national park. Definitely worth spending the entire day. You can find the differ recommended route maps online and can do as short as 1hr and as long as 8hr walks. Picturesque! I couldn't stop snapping photos.

One of the most beautiful natural parks I've seen! I will definitely be coming back with the family.

If you're counting on the Panoramic Train to get round the lakes for any reason (young children, mobility problems…) be aware that things occasionally go wrong and it may not be running. So if it's important, ring before you set off and check. The footpaths are OK, but not they're not always level (or dry!). There are lavatories, a restaurant,... More

This is probably the most beautiful and scenic National Park I have ever seen. Unfortunately I was only able to spend half day here. If you start at entrance 1, after paying the entrance fee you will go through a series of semi steep switch backs down to the lakes. Along the way down you will encounter so many photo... More

A truly beautiful location, with breathtaking views. I really enjoyed my 3 hour walk. But if you have difficulty walking this is not for you, as the paths are uneven and steep.

I had been wanting to visit Plitvice for some time, and when we finally went, I was not disappointed. It's everything you'd expect and more! We only had a half day, and we went in the off-season, so we only saw the Lower Lakes. But we'll be back for sure! (And probably for an overnight stay - I think it... More
