Some national parks are overrated. This was not one of them. The lakes and waterfalls were incredibly beautiful. The insect life was beautiful. As was all the fish. About a 5 km Boardwalk/path on the track we chose We started at car park2 and caught the bus to the top and walked down to the ferry. Then ferried back to... More

The park is amazing and the lakes among the most beautiful i've seen. Clear and green water. There is a bus and a boat in the park what helps the visit. the parking is far from the entrance and there could have more signs guiding the visitors. If you are lucky with the weather it must be a piece of... More

This place is like nothing i've ever seen! So many beautiful waterfalls and turquoise blue water. Very easy hiking and easy to get around by bus or ferry. Food is seriously lacking- available but terrible.

We went on a day that rain was forecast for the entire day and this place was still amazing with the waterfalls and lakes. We started at park 2 gate which did require a long walk down to the boat from the ticket office. Suggestion for clothing in wet weather is no more than 3/4 length pants and plastic sandals... More

A beautiful place to walk. Well set out with boardwalks and marked paths. We spent two full days here so that we could really explore the park. It was busy in May and parking was a challenge. We were told that in July visitor numbers reach 12,000 per day which means difficulty passing on the boardwalks.

The Plitvice park is really wonderful. The pictures you see on the internet and in books don't seem real, but they waterfalls really looks like that! Just remember to go early in the morning to avoid the crowds. We went in early May and started early. By afternoon the paths were getting more busy but not too crazy in this... More

NP Plitvička jezera (Plitvice lakes) is most popular and most beautiful place in Croatia and wider... If you visit Plitvice take minimum 6 hours to see all lakes and all natural beauties of this place.

A walk through nature, with fabulous waterfalls, lakes, greenery, and a beautiful man-made walkway that in itself is a marvel. Unique, awe-inspiring, something you'll always remember. Not-to-be-missed.

We loved this park! We spent 1 night in the area and only bought the pass for one day and we were able to see the whole park in about 4 hours (started at 2pm). I should mention we typically move at a quick pace and don't linger very long. We also went in shoulder season so it was not... More
