Stupendous scenery. We went here with a travel company called Gulliver's Travels. Elvis our guide (yes, that's his real name: apparently his father was a big fan of the late great pelvic thruster) was excellent throughout ... we were his mighty guests, and he was our mighty Elvis. A great place to visit with falls and mirror lakes.

This is an amazing place even though we visited in the rain and got extremely wet! There had been an unprecedented amount of rain for the2 weeks before our visit and the lower lakes were in flood so it was wet wherever you walked. However,it did not detract from the natural beauty of the park. Would have loved to see... More

A wonderful place to see, lots of walking on precarious pathways and steep inclines. Thankfully my youngest is 11 so quite happy to walk. People had pushchairs which made walking very difficult. Take waterproofs as weather can change rather quickly. Shame the day trip wasn't longer there due to the 5 hour journey from Rovinj.

Great hiking , waterfalls galore, little lakes, lush greenery. Many of the pathways were muddy due to the excessive rain this summer but are well defined. There are little boats to ferry you across to make your hiking pleasant. This is a very different dimension of Croatia from the coastal shore line. We were glad to make this trip not... More

First I'd like to say this is an outstanding Natural wonder,If you are going here be aware there is NO public transportation,no taxi's or local buses, so if you do not have a car be as close to the entrances as possible,it's worth it to be close if your not driving. The tourist infrastructure and information is really poor so do... I've never seen anything quite like Plitvice Lakes. You can see the whole thing in a day and it's worth a trip. Bring water shoes and expect to get a bit wet. There are concessions around the park for lunch or a snack. The area surrounding Plitvice is quite rural and there is not a lot to do, but it's... More

Well worth a visit. Great walking tracks and the scenery is amazing. Lots of other visitors but the lakes and park are big enough that it doesn't feel crowded.

We spent a miserable rainy day in the park. The park itself is spectacular - even in the pouring rain, and I would live to revisit it on a dry or sunny day.

It's very natural. However, it rains a lot that you may cross some water as you trekking the the rails. The falls are overwhelming because it rains too much this year.

Absolutely brilliant to see a wonderful beauty of this world. Gorgeous lakes and waterfalls, worth every cent of the entry to the park. It includes boat and train rides which we loved.
