I wrote a more logistical report under the Park area. To say these falls are worth seeing is an understatement. They are incredible. But so is the whole park. We spent two days and we just saw a bit. The Park is huge. So prepare accordingly. Falls around every corner, clear pools, amazing vegetation and just jaw dropping beauty. I... More

I was on my way back from my trip in croatia but I decided to make a last stop at these Falls. Awesome idea, because it was amazing. Let me explain, the park is huge and there are 3-4 trails you can follow and the shortest one is around 2h walk while the longest will take at least 6h, so... More

Fresh air and beautiful walk in the nature. It's a perfect day trip. Kids friendly. It's a pity that you are not allowed to swim in the amazing water.

This was one visit I was impatiently waiting for. The lakes offered all manner of spectacular views, beautiful gurgling water, cold temperatures and everything that would woo even the most well travelled intrepid individuals.

We visited in September 2015, during and just after a rainstorm, and the falls were spectacular! We made a planned stay of two nights at the Hotel Jezero in order to be very near the lakes and to have a full day for exploring--time incomparably well spent. In the morning we rode a tram to the start of the lower... More

There is not a specific part of the park called the "cascades". Their are cascades all over the park and if you go you'll see them Honestly this should not be listed as a separate site

I went there on my honeymoon and again on my 30th wedding anniversary, I had the best time, the place, hotels, personal, everything on a very high level. I will go back there, that's for sure.

Beautiful doesn't begin to describe the walk to the Cascades! Only problem is that because there are so many people and it's quite easy to fall into the water, be wary of all the people randomly stopping to take pictures!!

The entire national park is worth the visit and the time to appreciate it. We stopped by on a road trip and wish we has more time to spend hiking and getting to see all the waterfalls, caves and lakes. The Cascades are one of the most "must see" places and must not be missed!

Everywhere in Plitvice is amazing. Each part of the lakes are different. The views here are stunning with waterfalls plunging into blue / green water with lush green forest around you.
