After hearing about the islands we decided to visit late one day and we took the 15:30 sailing. The cost of this would be conceived as being terribly expensive if it didn't include the entrance and tour. We decided to avoid the tour after reading some other reviews and rented a golf cart. This really was the best decision we... More

I was in Istria with my family and we decided to spend a day in Brijuni and it was really amazing. I absolutely recommend it because you can find peace in stunning environment. For me, the best thing was finding a beach with ancient ruins and swimming in crystalline waters with no one bothering you.

We had listed this visit to the National Park Brijuni as a top of our list of things to do in Istria and we were disappointed. We took the ferry in Fazana at 11am to come back at 4pm form the Island. it's first difficult to find a parking in Fazana. it's better to park at 500m from the centrum... More

One of the most beatiful place. The nature, animals, infrastucture and the surrounding Adriatic Sea with the unique blue color, all together making this Park, something not easy to explain but rather to come and see.

Perfect place for a family retreat. It's a piece of paradise for nature lovers. We visited by sailing boat,The marina is very expensive, 200€/per day for a 45 feet boat, but the experience is worthwhile. Rented some bikes and went around several times, also walked a lot on every of the 3 days spent on the island. A piece of... More

We took the ferry over at 10 and made sure to get the earliest ferry back at 1. They shuttle you immediately to a Disney-like "train" tour around the island, which includes the saddest safari area you've ever seen. And the tour is narrated by someone who lost his passion for his work long ago. The story of the island... More

Brijuni National Park is on the "Must do" list, if you're holidaying on the Istrian Peninsular, so we did. It's very tightly controlled (fair enough) a little pricey and you have to pick your time & day, dependent on the language of your guide.. so check before turning up, as you can only visit the island on the official boat... You can visit the Brijuni Islands either on a private cruise ships - where you can not come ashore as they are not allowed to dock, or you can take the boat Veliki Brijun which departs from Fažana. You can choose a guided tour that takes approximately 4 hours (available in English, Croatian and Italian). Whole trip is 210kn per... More

Our original plan was to go by national ferry from Fazana to Brijuni. Unfortunately the lady in the tourist office was so unfriendly that we decided to take one of the private boots - which was definitely the better decision. The crew on the boot "kopalj" was really nice. We got free drinks there and a really good introduction to... More

The nature is beautiful, sea is clean, Tito's museum is well organized but however I was very unsatisfied with staff and other sides of the trip. Overall you should be firstly cautious at picking the right agency that offers the visit. It is common that some agencies offer the same thing but it costs more. The first disadvantage were the...
