We have visited Brijuni Islands numerous times, and after a long pause, the last time we were there was two weeks ago. You can book the excursion with the mainland office in Fazana - I suggest e-mail because I couldn't get them on the phone. This time we booked the 13:30 tour which lasts about 4 hours, and it consists... More

After seeing information in the Tourist Office we decided to stay another day to see the National Park. Glad we did! In the morning We took the ferry to the Island . Nice 20 minute ride. Included in the price of the ticket there is a sightseeing tour. This includes a train ride that takes you through Pine ally ,... More

worth the trip ! you can join the island in 10 minutes by boat. One solution is take a package ticket for some 20€ including boat + small tourist train to visit during some 45 minutes and by feet another 3 hours all this with a guide. If you have an outstanding guide like Jelena you will learn a lot... More

The tour is not that fun, the guide was boring and did not know anything in addition to what he has learnt by hear to mumble, every answer was: "hm, I don't know, I'd have to check", maybe he'll e-mail me the answers ;) ... But this is a beautiful island worth seeing. Rent a golf cart and go have... More

We paid 370kn each for a bus, boat and entrance to the Brijuni National Park from our hotel in Porec. We cannot fault the travel arrangements or the standard of the boat but be aware there is not much to see on the island. We thought we might see Tito's residence but it quickly became clear that all we would... More

A lovely island but the only access seems to be by an expensive trip boat from Fazana, itself a small attractive resort with many splendid fish restaurants. if you do go don't be persuaded to return by the boat they have on your ticket. You can catch a boat earlier or later, no one seems to check your return ticket... More

I go to Brijuni islands every year for a week, but although I believe never to get married, every time I go there, I think it would be perfect place for a honeymoon. Pine trees, dears and peacocks walking around freely, non crowded beaches, clear seas, the zoo, dinosaur's footprints, Tito's museum, ride in Tito's Cadillac, apple pie in Neptun... More

We have a handicap placard and parked in the H spot just at the end of the st. that approaches the port. There are two spots there, just on the left. Fazana is a really attractive little port, quite pretty and easily negotiated. Beware of the touts selling boat rides/taxis: they do not actually land on the island but take... More

Accessible via an infrequently running ferry, this island is more like a quas-military/20th century palace compound abandoned after the 30 year Tito regime ending in '79. The grounds are "tired" with a few zoo animals accessible via a mini tour train. For history buffs, Tito's museum has many pictures and propaganda on the Non-Aligned Movement. Tourists are herded around by... More

Trip from Fazana by boat is only half hour long. Buy tickets for guided tour 19 USD. Round trip boat ride included. Your (very good, friendly and interactive) English speaking guide is waiting for you at the island. You will take a tram ride around the island of Brijuni. Unfortunately, you will not see some interesting sights as their visitation... More
