This was apparently the best time to visit. Indeed it was. Not too many people. Great culture on any level. Friendly merchants. St. Michaels is chilling in its' authentic Christian spirit. Not just a building. I was sorry that we had outside optional tours scheduled. The market for the town people actually has crafts and products made by them. Salt... More

Bit of a trek from the road, but worth it. A 10 minute trek down a rocky path takes you to a stunning turquoise-watered bay which is well-sheltered from the wind. Just make sure you've got shoes to wear on the beach as it is a rocky beach and will really hurt your feet if you don't!

You have to have a car or boat to come here. Small beach, pebble beach, nice for snorkeling, little climping, 15 minutes from the road (leave your car up to the hill).

Beautiful rock beach with the clearest jade blue water...never busy, and a perfect place to relax for the afternoon. there is also a great seafood shack adjacent to the beach (with great prices)!

We arrived at Dubovica late in the afternoon after driving to Stari Grad from Hvar Town. The hike down to the beach offered spectacular views and we were 2 of 4 people on this beautiful pebbly beach. Clean, clear water in the cove made for a great swim before we headed back into town!

Would have received a perfect five stars had it not been for the hair raising drive down the smallest road by cliff which at best would fit only a very small car... and that would be pushing it. Having said this the beach is absolutely stunning. Waters crystal blue and not too pebbly (only small pebbles). Definitely worth a visit... More

Lovely pebble beach, nice setting and with taverna style cafe. Not crowded in September. Not sure how you could get here without a car. This was the nicest beach bar one on our (3) island trip - best was on Korcula (Pupnatska Luca).

As this beach is only accessible by a 20minute drive from Hvar town, and then a good 20 minute clamber down a path down the edge of the cliff, it manages to maintain an air of calm and beauty that central Hvar, full of party goers, doesn't have. Beautiful waters, typical pebble Dalmatian beach, and a gorgeous little cafe serving... More

Beautiful little beach. We arrived at 4pm after touring the island for a day in a rental car and it was the perfect place to soak the last of the sun, only about 8 people on the beach at this time. Well worth the short walk.
