great food, great location, great service and great value. Best meal of our holiday. We also visited some of the bars in the bay during the day. This is where the beautiful people hang out. The cocktails are outstanding, the music pumping but great and the atmosphere vibrant!

Hvar is the touristy area but if you want to get away from the crowds and big island you definitely need to rent a boat (which is really affordable) and go island hopping. If you leave from hvar's harbor and go all the way around to the other side of the island there's a cove called like "palmesana" or something... More

From the Hvar pier, any pilot will take you, in a 15 minutes boat ride (10 euro) direct to Pakleni Island. Unbelievable, paradisiac. At the Tri Grede Restaurant choose one of the vibrant colour cushions and lay down over the white gravel beach. Ask your favorite drink and enjoy the most limpid water in the world and the indescriptible landscape.... More

Hvar was our most favorite spot on a vacation to Croatia in 9/13. We had fabulous accommodations with a magnificent view of the sea and the Pakieni Islands. We enjoyed the walkability, shopping and the proximity of boats for hire. Definitely an island to include in a plan to visit the Dalmatian Islands.

This is great way to spend a day. Rent your own boat (from 350kn a day, fits 6people) and go to cruise around these islands. Palmizana is definitely the most popular bay with great beach and couple of good lounge bars!

We rose early for our day of adventure round the Pakleni Islands, quickly making our way to the Hvar harbour to hire our luxury charter..........or tin boat with a small outboard motor which for the equivalent of £40 for the day was an absolute bargain! As we made our way through the beautiful turquoise waters, dodging in and out of... More

We hired a yacht and sailed around the Pakleni islands. They are very peaceful, with a few bars etc dotted around. The water is clear and turquoise and there are lots of little bays you can go into for a swim. This was our first experience of Croatia and this was one of my favourite places.

The island of Palmizana itself is lovely and if you have time during your stay, then visit, but don't go especially for the beach as they are no better here than around Hvar town. The water is crystal clear and the island (certainly in September) is not crowded. Also you can expect to pay a high price for drinks, ice... More

These group of islands are just heaven on earth. You have nudist beaches, lots of restaurants and beautiful crystal clear waters. Not hellish at all :)
