This is great way to spend a day. Rent your own boat (from 350kn a day, fits 6people) and go to cruise around these islands. Palmizana is definitely the most popular bay with great beach and couple of good lounge bars!

We rose early for our day of adventure round the Pakleni Islands, quickly making our way to the Hvar harbour to hire our luxury charter..........or tin boat with a small outboard motor which for the equivalent of £40 for the day was an absolute bargain! As we made our way through the beautiful turquoise waters, dodging in and out of... More

We hired a yacht and sailed around the Pakleni islands. They are very peaceful, with a few bars etc dotted around. The water is clear and turquoise and there are lots of little bays you can go into for a swim. This was our first experience of Croatia and this was one of my favourite places.

The island of Palmizana itself is lovely and if you have time during your stay, then visit, but don't go especially for the beach as they are no better here than around Hvar town. The water is crystal clear and the island (certainly in September) is not crowded. Also you can expect to pay a high price for drinks, ice... More

These group of islands are just heaven on earth. You have nudist beaches, lots of restaurants and beautiful crystal clear waters. Not hellish at all :)

Took water taxi (£6 return) to Sveti Klement and walked across the island to Palmizana. Now- there's not much of a beach, its a tiny scrap of sand/pebble but this is completely irrelevant. The whole atmosphere is idyllic, there is a genuine feel of being on a remote exotic desert island, lush vegetation, the sound of the cicadas, lizards scurrying... More

We spent a couple of hours here in Palmizana, and what a beautiful place it is. We cam in on a boat we had hired for the day.

We visited Parmizana which has a couple of small sandy beaches with shallow waters which were great for the kids. Great place to chill out and relax. Few restaurants around and a small supermarket on the way to the beach. Highly recommend this beautiful island. Great day trip

Gorgeous clear water for swimming and the islands are great just for chilling out. Hire a small motor boat and drive around the islands
