Cavtat is very small but beautiful. More relaxed and low key than Dubrovnik, but fewer options for entertainment. The entire town can be seen in an hour.

You can walk round the whole town in less than an hour - three separate harbours, all different - but the old one is best. Take a local boat ride to the islands/Dubrovnik - perfect days out

Beautiful city with an amazing architecture close to the sea. I visited the city of Dubrovnik in mid July, and it might just have been slightly to warm to walk around in the old town. I craved to go back to my hotel and jump into the swimming pool.

Lots to see and do - or simply relax and watch the world go by. Value for money, good choice of restaurants, cafés and bars.

We love this town and its people, we do not usually repeat a journey ,but Cavtat is so beautiful[only small]so you can walk around easily, there are any many really good restaurants to choose from, that is the only stress that you will find in Cavtat.

A beautiful old town, very quaint set around two bays. Lots of restaurants and bars along the harbour side to sit in and watch the world go by. Luxury cabin cruisers coming in all the time. Prices very reasonable. There is a mausoleum to climb up to and a brilliant view of Cavtat and the surrounding area from the top.... More

Cavtat is a beautiful laid back town. There are 2 peninsulars that you can walk around. The beaches are rocky but the water is so clear. The sunsets are spectacular and can be seen around Rat peninsular. Our favourite thing to do in the evening was to buy an icecream (which are probably the best and best value I've ever... More
