You access this from some steps near a bar/restaurant partway around the headland walk or you can go up the steep steps at the end of the run of restaurants in the harbour. It is a beautiful cemetery with lots of flowers (some are silk, I guess as it's such a climb for the relatives to go regularly to water... More

An amazing place to be buried..... But a very steep walk up to the cemetery and the mausoleum is not open all day... Check times. Well worth the effort for the history on the memorials and magnificent views.

Take binoculars, camera and a bottle of water. The climb is steep but rewarding for the views at the top. Pay the 10kn (£1) to go inside the Racic Family mausoleum it is stunning piece of architecture perfectly formed that spells out a story. Brilliant acoustics too. Walk back down the hill behind cavtat for a different perspective.

Short but steep walk up from Cavtat harbour to the cemetary, but well worth the effort. Interesting and beautiful architecture of the Family Mausoleum both inside and out and of the cemetery itself. The position on the hill gives fantastic views across the cemetary from Cavtat Harbour all around the local coast

The walk was a bit steep for my old legs, but the mausoleum is a great work of art with a stunning view.

A bit of a hike but it is interesting to see the final resting place of the residents overlooking the bay. Unfortunately the mausoleum of the most famous family was closed so there was to walk around for a few minutes and take in the view
