I've spent my summer holidays four times on Bol on Brac. The best time to visit is for me September, when the sea is still warm, but days are not that incredibly hot and the school age crowd is gone. My habit is to go to the beach in the morning, around 9.30am, and retreat the heavy sun from 11.30... More

This is one of the most impressive beaches in the world. True. Breathtaking. True. All you read about it incl. how its tip moves through the day is also true. But what they don't tell you is how crowded it is, of all the winds, large pebbles, distances to anything other than the beach etc. Not funny on a really... More

The beach Zlatni Rat is known as the most beautiful beach of the world. Is unique because on the morning is rotating to one side and in afternoon to the another. It is realy important thing but I mean also the last important one. This beach is in the seasson full of tourists and you havenot any place to sit... More

After visiting Asian countries and their beaches, we decided to go to Croatia. Croatia is a beautiful country with the most amazing islands, since we heard a lot about Brac, we went there. Zlatni Rat Beach is the most popular beach on the island. It is beautiful, but the fact that it is so crowded and so loud, I really... More

Pebble beach, very uncomfortable to walk and lay on. Very pretty surroundings. I think this is slightly overrated although it is quite unusual and not like anything I've ever seen before. Stunning views from the viewing deck on top of the hill, next to the prominade. Worth a visit if you're in the Bol area although I probably would have... More

Zlatni Rat is something you cant miss when you visit Bol. Its the reason why people travel to Bol on daily boat trips. It is a beautiful beach with pebble stones, the water is turqoise and clear, theres activities for the kids and many places to buy food/beverages. However, this is a crowded beach during high season! There's plenty of... More

It's really nice beach, very clean, very well organised. BUT during summer so overcrowded. Many people and many guides say it's sandy beach- that's not truth. Beach has pebbles as almost everywhere in Croatia. Anyway, worth to see!

Zlatni Rat has something for everyone. Great beach, beach chairs, clear water, aqua park, trampolines, hip coffee bar, great food, and incredible views. I have been going here for 30 years and I never grow tired of it. So much to do for all ages!

The beach is beautiful to see and the water is very clear blue. During the day however it gets very crowded and it can get very windy. Furthermore, it is too rocky for my taste.
