This is not a sandy beach. The whole beach is covered in pebbles!! Which means you can't lay on the beach. So that means you have rent a lounge chair $&

You forgot to mention - morning waves on one side, afternoon waves on another!i I do not know the other place where the scent of pine is mixed with the smell of the sea. It is absolutely gorgeous beach.

This is realy one of the best beaches ever! I do not understand what do people expect when they come and have pebbles and not sand... Pebbles are much more cleaner and healthier then sand. When you come to the this unique beach before sunset it is just stunning. This is a must visit when you are in Europe, not... More

The view is amazing, the water is perfect to swimm, the beach is not very hard to walk (stones are not so sharp but for those ones who are sensible you can buy special beachshoes from there) you have cofee & fruit & drinks & others there; 1 umbrella & 2 beachseats cost is an expensive one - in my... Absolutely great beach. It's big, and although many people, no problem to find a space. The sunbeds are pricey, at 50 kuna per piece, but then again, there are always some available. Plenty of people just lie on the tiny pebble stones for free. The food is lousy fast-food, but what can you expect. Plenty of kiosks for drinks and... More

Lots of people, lots of pebbles. Cristal clear water with a lot water activies. Usually it's windy on one side, and not on the other. So you can choose what you prefer. Not so good for small children. It gets deep pretty fast. The only thing that makes me set a 4 instead of 5 is that you have to... More

The beach looks awesome on postcards and pictures but getting there is different. I always thought it was a sandy beach but it turns out it's actually small stones (which I prefer). But there's way too many people for my taste. The entrance to the sea is quite steep which is fine when going in, but it's a bit tricky... More

Had 3 hours in Bol as part of a boat trip - one of 6 arriving at once. First stop a water taxi to the beach for 15 kuna per head - these were plentiful and regular although you may have to wait 10 mins whilst they fill them up. The beach was packed but there was still room but... More

The waves were great. But we don't enjoy places, wich are so crowded. So hint for travellers; package holidays have dinner at 6 pm, so the beach is nearly empty at 5.30.
