Beautiful beach . Great little stalls with fresh fruit, smoothes, pancakes, chips and a lovely cocktail bar with loungers and beanbags. Sunbeds are £5 for the day but very comfortable and come with a table and parasol. Spent a fantastic day here swimming, reading, drinking beer, eating pancakes, playing yahtzee. The water is unbelievably clear, but beware, this is not... More

For me, it was too crowded. Too many tourists wanted to see that particular beach. Sure it is beautiful, but for me, every beach on Brac was beautiful. It was a bit polluted. I prefer quiet beaches with not too many tourists that step on my toes.

Plenty of places to sit and chill or enjoy a cold one. The water looks fantastic. Beaches are not sand as they are in OZ but this one was better than the big rocks everywhere else. Suggest you buy reef shoes for $10AUD that are sold everywhere.

Loved this place. Very crowded but for a good resin. The water around Zlatni Rat is full of fish and one of the best snorkelling experiences we've had. Seabed shelves away very quickly to reveal deep water even though you're close to the beach. Amazing for kids. Lovely restaurants in the pine forests and sweet walk to Bol harbour. Beautiful... More

A beach of pebble stones, with bars and activities and a nice views of the mountain and the near islands. It could be crowded during hot summer.

This beach looks stunning from above and from the boat, but once you are there and there you do feel slightly underwhelmed by it. It is little too crowded and doesnt have the "wow" factor you expect.

Visited first week of September so luckily it wasn't crowded. Clear water and lots of things to do, my friends signed up for windsurfing lessons with Johnny's Windy Way. You can rent umbrellas and beds but it's about £5 each. We brought a beach tent with us, I can't recommend that enough, it was excellent. It can get quite windy... More

I honestly don't understand all the fuss about Zlatni Rat. Just a regular beach, over-marketed. The colors don't look as good as they do on the pics you find online. Not much to see underwater. Not many things to do on the beach.

Went in high season so lots of people. Could have deterred our experience but I thought this beach was overrated based on what I read (top 10 best beaches in world)?!? Then you have to pay $10 for a chair and $20 for an umbrella so it can get costly after a few days. The water is wonderful though. Lots... More
