As a writter said, for the croatian beach is one of the best. The problem is because is too much people ( plus the island visitors they coming with the ships and boats). In the same time, there is a naturist beach, but is no demarcation for this, and you can see near you people naked. In rest the beach is nice, there... More

This beach is best visited in the early morning or off season...it was so packed and crowded that after just 1 hr. We had to leave...people stepping all over you, you cannot sleep or read on this beach....loud obnoxious people yelling, eating, no class! You are better off going under the walkway/ street on the rocks for some tranquility, peace,... More

Not a place for me. Too loud music, too crowded. Worst of all: no free showers or toilets! Nice place to visit but much more relaxing (but rocky) beaches you will found between Zlatni Rat and city centre.

On the good side, beautiful scenery, safe , some shade, clear turquoise waters.....on the bad side, surface similar to a car park, crowded, you have to pay to use the toilet (5kuna is not just a few pence as a previous reviewer stated), loud music unless you keep well away from the bars) sun-beds and parasols are expensive, but you... Bol and it's Zlatni Rat beach definitely made our trip. It's crowded but not close to as crowded as the beaches in Split, Hvar or Carpe Diem. No Sand really but soft enough to lay on the towels and enjoy the entire day. And the WATER, it's amazing, so deep and clear. Feeling like being in the Caribbean. The town... More

For Croatian beaches, this is one of the better ones, as the pebbles are much smaller, and easier to walk/sit/lie on....but it's busy !

Ok, in August it's definitely overcrowded. And yes, umbrellas, deck chairs and bars are way too many. But this gigantic beach remains a must-see attraction on Brac. On windy days it is perfect for water sports like wind and kite surf (and one side will be flat enough to swim), while on calmness you will appreciate the transparency of waters... More

Lovely clear warm sea, brilliant activities, lots of reasonably priced food and drinks. You need to pay 5 kuna to use the toilet which is only a few pence but something to bear in mind. The beach is busy but we managed to get a bed each day.

Just take lots of cash to rent a lounger and an umbrella. Also remember your sandals to walk on the pebbles! Some of those water shoes will also be good to swim with. Contrary to what you may hear, this beach does NOT have sand...

Super clear sea water with stunning views. We didn't miss messy sand all over our children and our own clothes at all - pebbles are great !
