the tourist development prob ruins the old town,
it's horribly noisy and crowded at Square street,
people is everywhere, and the music is too loud that you seem stepping into clubbin'.

Well, as tourism develop, Sifangjie is losing its own charm. Too busy, too many tourists, too many stores, music is too loud, you will feel stressful while you just walk on the street. If you visit the old town and did not pass by there, you have nothing to lose.

Squre street (Sifangjie) is at the center of Lijiang, 6 streets connect to here from East, South, West and North, in the old days is a Plaza Market Place, people come here to sell or to buy from all direction of the country, Dali and Shangri-La etc, traders buy and sell and move on as the story goes, it's a...
