The Zhang Mi Tibetan dance and show is colourful, entertaining and lively. It offers tourists a look into Tibetan culture and way of life - beautiful costumes, dance and music. Cast of more than a hundred. It is good entertainment for the evening after walking in JGZ park the whole day. Theater a bit chilly during winter so make sure... More

After an exhausting day at Jiuzhaiguo National Park, one can enjoy an extremely entertaining Tibetan Music and Cultural Show at the Jiauzhai Paradise Grand Theater located across the Holiday Inn at Jarpo town (about half an hour by car or bus from the Park). Although much of the show is spoken in Tibetan and Chinese, the music, costume, dancing, cultural... More

Our taxi driver took us to buy our tickets after our arrival in Juizhaigou. It was a fun filled night, with music, dance,Tibetan traditional costumes, acrobatic manouvers & some light comedy (especially the Yak Dance). Well worth seeing this performance

Apparently this show has some pretty deep religious meaning for Buddhists. However, even though I did not fully grasp the religious significance, I enjoyed the songs, dances, and music of the various minority tribes of China which the protagonist (an old lady making her pilgrimage to Llasa with her goat) encountered when she set off from her home in Jiuzhaigou.... I watched the Zang Mi "藏谜" (Tibetan Mystery in English) during my visit to Jiuzhaigou in June 2012. The main theme of the show is a Tibetan woman who started her journey of worship with a little sheep from Jiuzhaigou to Lahsa (capital of Tibet). She walked a couple of years going through different villages of Tibet. She eventually died... More

Jiuzhai Valley, known in Chinese as Jiuzhaigou means “Nine Village Valley” and is named after the nine Tibetan villages scattered throughout the park. Tibetan people have lived in this region for thousands of years. After hiking in the National Park during the day,we attended the Zang Mi Tibetan Music and Dance Show in the evening. Full of choreographed group dancing... More
