The templ and cemetary are worth the walk. Be prepared to walk a lot after you park to get to confucius grave. There are golf cart like things that will drive you in. Understand to be 20 RMB per person. I think this would be well worth it. The mansion got a little repetitive after a while. Aloow 1-2 hours... More

The gardens and grounds are very peaceful and well kept, including trees that Confucius himself had planted. His home and its other buildings in the compound are open to see how the family had lived. The property also includes his burial momument. More

I visited the Confucius Temple, Cemetery and Mansion a few days ago with business colleagues. Despite the weather being cold and dreary, the sites were fascinating and thoroughly enjoyable. walking around the 3 sites, you have the feel of something grand and important. Confucius' thoughts were shunned during his lifetime, but later came to be the foundation of all Asian thinking and politics. Just dont come here during a national holiday!! More

In Mandarin, 己所不欲,勿施于人. Travelling to Qufu will take about 2 hours by car from Jinan. The journey will include the Confucius temple, mansion and cemetery. Strange... More

Qufu was highly recommended in our guidebook for having this amazing confucius temple and basically being a wonderful town to spend a couple of days! The temple alone cost 90rmb entry or you could...
