This is an older convention center and a bit spread out but once you get the hang of it, it really isnt that bad. It seems many people that complain are those going to concerts, of which I have not been, so maybe that is where the difference lies in reviews. I have been to several shows and conventions and... The good news is that this venue is not oversized like the large arenas. The downside is that it is a dated design, with much wasted interior space, and so-so acoustics. That said, my front row Tier AA set for a July 2014 Steely Dan show was perfect. The lobby and restroom area is poorly designed, with inadequate space for... More

Every BJCC facility was very clean and well kept. Despite multiple entrance ways and building separations, the clear signage and helpful staff made the complex easily navigable. The main concert hall was very impressive and had fantastic acoustics.

The BJCC facilities are nice. They have several buildings for different types of events. The concert hall where I saw Steely Dan is big enough for a great concert and small enough to see well. The acoustics are great and it seemed every seat was a good one.....

While the complex has been around for many years, it still serves multiple functions well. The concert hall is outstanding, especially for acoustic performances. The Arena itself hosts a number of concerts and other special events (rodeo, circus, monster trucks, etc.), as well as sporting events. They've done a lot to clean up this area, and with the addition of... More

This is the best venue i've been to yet. The seating was great as well as the acoustics, and it was a very nice place. The staff was good and the atmosphere was really chill. I hope to see another concert here!

We attended an energetic, exciting dance recital here in the Concert Hall. Seating was adequate for wheelchairs and a companion, and the staff monitored well who sat in the limited area. Acoustics, lighting, total access, all fantastic. The entire complex is enormous, but signage was helpful.

Poor parking. Poor management. Regularly schedule multiple events same night with same start and end time for nightmare traffic and parking issues. They want you to park at old SS building lot which is nasty. All this and they want to build a dome there too. Sound is horrible in the concert hall, they never use the theatre and the... More

We went here for the Bruno Mars concert this week, and I was a little disappointed. I expected pricey concessions, long lines, and a mix of personalities in the workers, but I didn't expect toilets that weren't flushing an hour before the concert even began. The climb to the seats was ridiculously steep, but I guess that's the norm anymore.... More
