If you're in Birmingham, AL for the weekend and you love Farmer's Markets, then Pepper Place is the spot for you... Such an eclectic array of vendors to choose from and so many of them to boot! I had an amazing sausage biscuit for breakfast while my wife enjoyed a giant mason jar of homemade flavored iced tea! Gotta visit... More

This is a great way to spend a couple of hours on a Saturday morning. There is no admission charged, although parking can be tough, you may have to park and walk a few blocks. Lots of different vendors selling everything from ready made food, baked goods, sandwiches, and drinks to crafts to fresh vegetables and fruit. There is usually... More

My husband and I visited this farmers market, and we loved it. Everyone was very friendly, there are allot of samples to try, and baked goods and organic vegetables to buy. I had warm apple cider and sweet potato pie, and they were delicious. There is also coffee, sausage stand, and cinnamon rolls ready to eat and drink.

Last Saturday, I went to Pepper Place for the first time and LOVED it! From the organic vegetables, garden shops to the coffee and art, I give it two thumbs-up! I especially enjoyed meeting and greeting all of the well-behaved dogs and their owners. Now, I just need to figure out how to do something like this in Nashville!

Get to the heart of the people and the area by visiting the Saturday open market at Pepper Place in Birmingham. Pepper Place is very retro. It is actually a complex of seven buildings that house not only the old Dr. Pepper Syrup Plant and Bottling Company but a design center, theater, galleries, restaurants and shops. It has had extensive... More
