The Statue of Liberty in Birmingham is a fun photo-op but as good from the highway than if you visit up close. In fact, you can take pictures of the statue up close but almost impossible to get people in them due the to space restrictions. If you are visiting, the statue is in the Boy Scout Parking lot so... Out of nowhere she rises up and before you know it you've missed your chance to snap a good photo so be prepared and as you're driving up Overton about .5 mile before the turn have camera ready. Once up there getting a good photo is tough. See mine.

You can see the Statue of Liberty from the highway and we decided to check it out. It's a nice place to hangout. Next to it a Boy Scout memorial and office. Not much to see around the area but it makes a good landmark.

After a slightly longer drive than expected, we finally located the Statue of Liberty. Very awesome since we haven't seen the full size one yet. NOTE TO VISITORS:drive by it on the Interstate, you can see it just fine from there.

Easy to access off the highway. Nice place to stop for a quick photo. It is located in a beautiful area and is well maintained. And the flame is really burning! I wasn't expecting that.

Nice little side trip to see the "Statue of Liberty". Not a lot to do there, other than see the statue, but the area is nice and quite, and it is worth a little time, if you are in the area.

We stopped here with our family picture taking selfie stick after checking out at our hotel across the way. It was very clean, not big but something that takes you 5 minutes to see and take a picture. It is in a beautiful area.

The replica is tall as three store building. Situated at a business park adjacent to the Boys Scouts Building and Federal Reserve Bank. It majestically overshadows any other structure in the area. Free to the public.

Staying in the area to get away from Atlanta. Wrapped up the day visiting this great place. Nothing fancy but a great picture stop and great way to celebrate being American.

This 1/5 replica of the Statue of Liberty is a must see! The area is very beautifully landscaped and peaceful. The large star grounding around the replica was a very nice touch. From our hotel we could see the statue lit, we really loved it!
