If you're a fan of replicas of larger statues, this is for you! We stopped by just for the novelty of it (plus we needed to pick up some scouting supplies at the Scout store right next to it).

This smaller replica of the Statue of Liberty is easily seen from the interstate, but take a few minutes for a visit. It's easy to get to from the interstate - at the Boy Scouts of America's Alabama headquarters. It was neat to see the wall with Alabama Eagle Scouts listed on the short walk from the parking lot to... More

We saw this from the interstate and wanted to see it up close. Worth the stop to see something patriotic. It is well kept grounds and looks to have pride in the upkeep.

I missed this the first go-round. A beautiful replica along side the Great Alabama Boy Scout Council Hq. Take time to visit both.

I came across this on trip advisor then I immediately let my local friend know and she was surprised about it! She didn't know this nice place before! Then we drove there the other day right away! It was pretty cool! We loved it! The view was nice and beautiful! :)

I didn't even know we had a replica of the Statue of Liberty in Alabama! This place was pretty neat. I had a pen pal come and visit me and she is the one that found it online. So, we went to as something for her to visit while she was here. Another neat thing is that it is right... More

Worth a visit if you're in the area, not sure I would drive too far to se it though. I believe it is the largest lady liberty replica...but it seems a little out of proportion since the base is so large.

This Statute is on the grounds of BSA Birmingham office. A nice photo op with the kids. Although the Statute is one-fifth the size of the original, it is very impressive. It's free and easy to get to from I-459. It's also visible from interstate.

Worth the stop during the day. Very impressive at night with the torch flame , and yes they do light the torch with a large impressive flame . I think they turn it off on windy nights. You have to take the 459 bypass to see it. 5 stars from the interstate.
