I'm just being honest, I live in Birmingham and I would like to see all people kept safe. Check out Veterans Park, it's next to Jeff State Community College. There are soooo many other safer choices.

This park is the crown jewel of the downtown Birmingham area as far as parks go. There is something new to discover on every corner and over any hill throughout the park. This is a very nice place to spend the afternoon with the kids, dogs or by yourself. The Birmingham foot police are out in force so I always... More

The park is usually very clean. It is right across the street from Regions Park, so It is either loud, or quiet. But either way, it is still very enjoyable.

Great place to go running, have a picnic, ride a bike, fly a kite, or just sit by the man made lakes and watch the fish. The kids love it and we do too.

Park was clean and looked to be well-maintained. I didn't experience any unwanted issues nor feel unsafe, though I was there in the middle of the afternoon. Enjoyed the views of the city from here!

Loved this spot. I'd heard about it and wanted to check it out for myself while in town. I can see it serving the revitalized downtown population for years. Very similar vibe to the high line in NYC.

A beautiful park with a great view and plenty of activities! I love to go there, especially during the summer time. You can catch a concert, a movie, just about anything.

It's a really well done park! It is a little small but, very nice place to take a walk or take a yoga class.

A beautiful example of what a city can do when they put their minds to it. Changes in topography abound and make every scene different. You will not be disappointed!!

We love going to this park when the weather is good. Lots of room to spread out, ride bikes, play ball, have picnics, walk, lay out, just whatever you in the mood for. The food they sale out there is overpriced, but sometimes the food trucks setup around the park and the food is good.
