It is a very well done park in downtown. Good place to walk your dog too. It even has an exercise station area.

We all took our bikes to the park, from the 5 year old twins to my 70 year old husband. We rode and played in the water and talked with other families. There is a play area and you can either bike on flat paths or try a few manmade hilly areas. Fun was had by all, we stayed for... More

Really nice park in the middle of a busy city. Nice for a picnic or pictures! They regularly have different types of entertainment such as the Symphony.

If you are in downtown Birmingham and have 30 minutes to spare, it's worth walking around this park. This green space acts as a little oasis in this industrial area. I wouldn't recommend walking there alone at night, as the surrounding area isn't the nicest.

This is a great stop for parents with young kids. Lots of great trails to run, a playground, covered seating for a picnic, and more. My son loved the trains!

We found a spot in the shade and enjoyed the free concert at Railroad park. The park was clean and felt very safe wandering around it. This place will be a huge return on Birmingham's investment on it. The fireworks after the concert ended were wonderful and traffic not too bad to get back to hotel since near all the... More

This is a nice park set across from the ballpark. The railroad tracks by it adds a nostalgic look. Nice place for a walk or jog, saw a lot of families out enjoying the day.

Amazing landscaped green space downtown with great potential. Picnic tables, restrooms and paved paths with the historic rail system nearby. I've been several times and honestly, once I felt totally safe and enjoyed what felt like a family atmosphere. However, it really honestly depends on who is there at that moment for I have been there and did not feel... More

It still amazes me that so many citizens of the city and outlying areas have STILL not been to walk around this park even once. It is something the entire metropolitan area should be proud to support. I have yet to find anyone not impressed with how nice it is. This is especially true of the way the park was... More

The venue is excellent for an outdoor concert. The setting is nice for families and individuals to spend walking or on a picnic.
