This park has so much to offer- lots of green space, great view of the city, a playground for the little ones, free exercises classes, community events... This place was and is instrumental in Birmingham's revitalization and is in a part of town that really is a whole lot of fun these days. Right across from Regions Field, a short... More

Railroad park is a fairly new addition to downtown Birmingham, and offers concerts, activities, food truck festivals, etc. Or just a great place to have a picnic. Very nice addition to the cityscape of downtown Birmingham.

Great place to visit, exercise, or simply hang out for a while. Diverse crowd in comfortable outdoor setting. Great place to take pictures (many couples take engagement photos here). Adjacent to Regions Field (home of the Birmingham Barons and UAB Baseball), with local eats and beer close by.

This is a great park for all ages. Great for walking, riding bikes, setting up an impromptu volleyball game, exercise, and even feeding fish. It is a jewel in the middle of the city of Birmingham!!

Our family really enjoyed this city attraction. We loved it so much we took "professional" family photos and my cousin had her wedding here 2 days late!!!

I had visited this park a couple of years ago but appreciated it more on this visit. It is very large and has a running track, gravel walkways, bricked surfaces and sidewalks. There is room for walkers, runners, children, older folks, for everyone! There are so many nice places to sit and just enjoy the many birds and listen to... More

When I heard about the good reviews on this park I decided to make time to stop here even though I had 1 night in Birmingham, I liked the quiet scenery of this park with the downtown surrounding. It's a good place to walk and jog but for kids it might be boring since there's no playground. It's well kept... More

It is just a nice green space, perfect for having a quiet spot to meditate. It sits next to a railroad track and is just minutes from downtown.

Railroad Park is still being developed but has walking trails, luck lawn areas, flowers in season and is just across from Regions Field where you can watch the Birmingham Barons play baseball in the summer. You can also find various events happening throughout the year and almost only a food truck or two will be parked just outside for your... More

What a great way to relax and enjoy the hustle and bustle of downtown working life. There are walking paths, ponds, flowers, birds, fish, playgrounds, and everything you need to forget you're in the middle of a city.
