Great place for a lunchtime walk, or a concert, or just playing frisbee with the kids. A bit of green surrounded by the city.

My friends and I love going to Railroad Park, especially with our dogs and my 13 month old. We love to walk around, the baby is finally getting big enough to really play on the playground and the dogs have a great time sniffing around. It's a beautiful park and I always get amazing photos there. However, I won't go... More

To me, it's just an average looking grassy area with no charm. There is a track and a pavilion and maybe a few small trees but Birmingham is so beautiful as a city and this place does not depict the true beauty of the city.

Birmingham did a wonderful job with the creation of Railroad Park, a natural area in the midst of the downtown area. Most days, you'll see children playing and folks exercising, throwing a Frisbee and having a good time. They have concerts and other special events here from time to time. If you're looking for the "outdoors" in the city, this... More

This is a nice open and inviting park good for walking and jogging or just hanging out. The day I visited there were no venues going on but I did stroll along the walking trail - went across a wooden bridge that kind of moved in certain spots as you walked it, that kind of made me uneasy but seemed... Along with Regions Park, the city has done itself proud with these two venues. So many photo opportunities, it's hard to know where to turn next. Great job!

A great addition to the renewal of downtown Birmingham. Spend an afternoon in the park, with great views of the downtown skyline and plan to also take in a Birmingham Barons game across the street at the new Regions Field. Before you go check out all the free parking spots in the area, so you can park all afternoon and... More

Some great acts and fun to walk around also . We enjoyed the music especially when they have it. A great place to relax and be with friends and family. Near to downtown Birmingham.

A decent park, very well kept and clean. Great place to walk, jog and bike ride, there's also a play area and exercise area. Events are sometimes held here on occasions as well.

Excellent venue for large-scale outdoor activities, with great views of the City. Night concert on the 4th of July was so fun, especially with evening trains moving through the downtown and a gorgeous sunset as the backdrop.
