Once upon a time, Brookwood Village (many years and several renovations ago) was the place to shop in Birmingham. But, as the years went by, Century Plaza (long since closed), the Galleria and the Summit all came about. The property owners for Colonial Brookwood Village have made valiant efforts to update the physical structure as well as the store selections.... More

I love the stores surrounding this center. On a warm day, there is plenty to do, sitting outside at the cafes or going in and out of stores, such as Banana Republic or the two-story Target. Macy's is a part of the indoor section. It's easy to spend an afternoon here.

Not only does this mall have many of the stores you want in an indoor mall, but it also has a Fresh Market, Target, DSW, and Loft stores just outside the mall. So that makes it a great one stop for a variety of shopping needs. And there are also some great restaurants for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

I always make a trip to the Village when I visit Bham.We enjoy the bookstore and Macys. I have looked for the chinese restaurant in the food court on this site to review and can't find it. Stop by and find the restaurant that cooks your food in front of you. Chicken, rice and steamed veggies. If I find it... More
