We had an amazing bike tour in the park, between yangshuo and yulong river. You cannot come to yangshuo without seeing this : countryside village, rice fields, lotus flowers, no shops ... I would do it again with great pleasure.

We had a cruise along the Li River, finishing the trip in Yangshuo. The landscape is truly stunning with some fantastic mountain scenery and lots of other fantastic views.

The unusual part was the mountain right in the middle of it. We could have climbed but it was getting late and it didn't look that safe. May have been better earlier in the day when more poeple where out.

we cycled through it, best way to see it. that way you can stop when you like and take lots of photos, simply stunning. If you can, take the time to find the smaller lanes through the mountains, you cycle through villages and farm land, its just as beautiful as the rest of the area and you feel like you... More

I bought Groupon vouchrs to go on this trip. Good organization, No complaints for th tour agnt, accommodation and food. At first my companions and I worry about this trip turning into a shopping trip. All of us happily had a good tim, singing along, taking loads of photos and visiting highlights on tour.

We really loved the countryside. Langshuo is still pretty small, and has a backpacker feel to it, especially around the Kelly's bar street, with all the Tripadvisor restaurants. I could have stayed longer. We went cycling (30Y/day for a mountain bike) and just headed south out of the city to the quite back rounds to appreciate the scenery. Also came... More

Fall in love with Yangshuo after my first visit there in 1987. Before 2000,Yangshuo was a very peaceful, quiet and most beautiful place on earth. But after 2000 when load of load of chinese local tourist started to flood Yangshuo, this place was starting to become another very typical commercial small town in china. Noisy , crowded, expensive, security is a concern too.... More

Yangshuo township is compact and easily negotiated by foot but if you want to look farther afield, you need some kind of transport. We opted for one of the little electric buses for our family with 2 children aged 10 and 7. Many people hire a bike and it would have been a great casual ride but I didn’t think... More

just rent a bicycle (Y10 - Y30 for a decent bike) and buy a map (Y5 - Y8) and just ride around. you don't need a guide unless you can't read maps. two days tops is what most people spend doing this. beyond that is overkill. thankfully, unlike many sites in china, this one is not walled off or ticketed.... In 2006, we visited Guilin a beautiful city with lovely rivers and lakes. The night cruise was very relaxing with colourful lights highlighting the different bridges we passed by and continuing on to wonderful spectacular views of temples and lighted rock formations along the way. In 2009 we returned again, this time driving through Yangshuo County. We visited Li River,... More
