First of all, do not buy any souvenirs here! Its the same as everyone else around china. I came here a couple of times to just drinks some coffee when the weather is a little unpleasant. This place is NOT A Must. So only visit when u have the time to spare.

At night the street is full of young people milling around the countless shops, vendors and eateries. It is an eye opener in many ways including the amazing acrobatics of remotely controlled planes that lighten the sky. Very much worth a visit

Beautiful location, quite a nice street but for the myriad of cheap, tourist shops. So many people, and no real purpose but to spend money on average food, on average tourist 'stuff'

It's fun to do once and if you get away with spending nothing well done. Best viewed from a restaurant balcony above, if you can stand the noise.

we were here on West St as a result of our Li River cruise ending in Yangshuo. our guide gave us something like 45 minutes here and told us where the clean restroom was and where the knock-off handbags were. She even took a number of us there where there is a "back room" filled with the high-end knock-offs. there... More

The street is probably one of the most important streets in yangshuo. Rows of restaurants, cafes fruit vendors and street hawkers. The streets when lit in the night looks very beautiful as well

Good market and on the surface doesn't look like much but you have to look for the hidden treasures and remember to barter.

After our disappointing visits to the scenic spots, my family and I went here for dinner and shopping and were pleasantly surprised. It was very busy and had a nice selection of restaurants to choose from as well as hundreds of shops where you can bargain for a better price. I got a painting of Guan Yu for 88rmb, bargained... This is a street selling the usual tourist gifts from bags to paintings etc. You have to bargain hard as is usual, there are also quite a few places to eat. Try to wonder some of the back streets and see how the locals live.

Nothing you really need in this street but it's fun to buy souvenirs here, and lots of neat things to eat if you aren't wary of street food. If you like to haggle, anywhere in China is good but the shops here were a bit nicer than most.
