Very beautiful old bridge

I had the chance to ride a bamboo raft underneath the Yulong Bridge and it was very beautiful. Can really see its' old and full of stories to tell.

used to be much better nine years ago.... the village had much more old houses at that time and the place is totally occupied by the local bambo rafting bussines. Nice place though to have a sanck and refrehment. I most liked the bike ride to get there.

It was early season and the water was cold, but the jump off the 500 (or so) year old bridge was worth it.

The bike ride is the best part of the trip to Yulong bridge, but view from bridge also nice. If you arrive here on the right side, there is a nice western-chinese cafe along the river just opporsite. Waffles anyone?

We cycled to Dragon Bridge from the Tea Cozy (about halfway up the Yulong valley) with our two daughters (11 and 13). It's a nice but at times rough ride. We stopped at Juxian village for a look around and then got a bit lost. However, all the locals were helpful in directing us in the right direction. As we... More

We biked here as a group of 5 people. It took up most of the day, but was really worth it after we jumped off the bridge into the water! Of course, we got colds later (but nothing serious), but it helped to cool us off on a hot July day! The scenery isn't spectacular, but the journey is!! Rent... More

Went for a é 4hours bike tour from the Outside Inn hotel upstream to the Yulong bridge, and then back to the hotel on teh other side of the river. Very nice views on teh surrounding peaks, in particular on teh trip back on narrrow paths, much more pleasant than the way up on large roads.

You'll see the bridge when you float under it on your Yulong river raft. Didn't really see anything special about it.

My most beautiful experience in the Guilin-Yuangshuo area is the short bamboo raft on the Yulong (Dragon) River starting from Yulong (Dragon) Bridge. It is not the rafting, but just the amazing atmosphere : the river, the hills, the bamboo rafts, the fishers with their cormorants, the buffalo's make this such an extremely wonderful landscape. You can hire bamboo rafts... More
