For us, it was a convenient along-the-way stop for our full-day outing to explore the villages (Tangyue, Hongcun, Chengkang) in this general area. We enjoyed it. About a dozen Qing buidings were open and there is no ticket charge. Surprisingly, there was also no crowd. There is nothing much in town either, but if you happen to drive by, look... More

Qiankou is in a valley with several MIng style buildings up one hill and the Ching style buildings up the opposite hill. They were all relocated from different villages in the area, put on the hills in no special order. There were no explanations and the buildings were not well kepted. Skip this place and go visit a really working... More
