Wonderful!!!!!!!! We did this tour at our last day at Atacama and it was nice because we were more adapted to the altitude. It is a long trip but we have nice landscape views during all the trip. Arriving there is like you are entering into a painting, so beautiful it is!

Arriving at the Salar de Tara is one of the most beautiful views of Atacama. It is a long trip but it is worth it. The only problem is that walking around is not permitted anymore. You have to stay close to the guard house. A shame in such a beautiful place, but necessary for the animals to bread...

We had been to the geysers the day before, so had lower expectations for this tour. It is a two hour trek from St. Pedro, but definitely worth it. We had a private tour with Cielo Norte and our guides Nicole and Marco were fantastic. All along the way they pointed out interesting things. The scenery, and the scale of... More

It is a bit far from San Pedro, the closest town. But geological formations and endemic wildlife is fabulous. Must plan a full day for this activity.
