Far from San Pedro, but a must go place. The temperature was around 1oC, but was nice since the Sun warm. The landscape is incredible.

It is an amazing experience. You see many different types of landscape in the way to Salar de Tara ... and you end your day with a very beautiful view. Fantastic!

One of the most beautiful places I've ever been. The mix of desert, salt, lagoons is increadible. Totally worth going, highly recommend!

never seen such a beautiful nature. The best tour in Atacama. We had never seen such a landscape anywhere else in the world.

If in San Perdro, this is a must. The contrast in scenery is mind blowing. From the harsh desert plains to beautiful colors around the Laguna, you will not be disappointed. One thing to bear in mind is that this does approach some very high altitudes of 4500, so make sure you have adjusted before attempting .

The place is beautiful. it's a long long journey, we get up to 4800 meters which some feel a lot. If you have the time, oit's a nice place and feeling to make.

No words can describe the beauty of this place. It's high so be aware of the discomfort and take some coca leaves to chew and plan this tour to the last days of your trip if you leave on the sea level like me.

Incredible views, better than what I saw in Salar Atacama. The view at the end of the small hike when you sit next to the lagoon is brilliant and if you go with a tour you will end up eating lunch here so get good time to spend there. The rock formations are pretty cool and make for some nice... More

We went to the Salar de Tara with the tour company Maxim Experience. Although I can not recommend using this company, I do recommend you visit this area. We climbed to an altitude of 4800 metres. Some people were sick from altitude sickness. We were told to drink 3 litres of water the day before to hydrate your body. We... More

This tour was exhausting but exceptional. The desert is dramatic and extreme, and the sight of the Flamenco Reserva after hours of desert travel is incredible.
