This is one of the tours you can't leave behind. The things you will see are great and different from most of other places you probably went in Atacama. You should know this is a "no toillet at all" tour. So be prepared to go pee behind a stone or so, since it's a full day tour.

This was the best trip we had in San Pedro. Choose the right agency and you won't notice the long drive. So much to see on the way there!

Best time is the late afternoon to see the Pink Flamingos and the sun set. the altitude is low, so until you adjust to the higher altitude levels this is the perfect first hike.

We came here for a day trip with Mitcampi tour agency and were disappointed at first. We were promised to be picked up in a jeep with a maximum of 6 people but they "sold us out" to Colque tours who came with a regular Mini Bus with 13 seats instead. Anyway our disappointment did not last long as our... More

For some spectacular views and brilliant photo opportunities this is the trip to take. Its a long drive up to about 4,800 meters which can adversely affect some, and depending on the size of the bus can be tiring. Also saw some wildlife, flamingos, colourful birds and some deer like animals whose name I forget. Also some amazing rock formations... More

CHARGE YOUR CAMERA! BRING SHOES THAT CAN GET MUDDY! BRING CLOTHES SUITABLE FOR VERY HOT & VERY COLD WEATHER! Magnificent views, spend as much time here as you can afford. This region of Bolivia & Chile are probably my number one spot for amazing landscapes... everywhere you look are postcard views.

Full day tour to an amazing part of Chile. High altitude salt flats with flamingo's, strange rock cathedrals and amazing scenery. Would recommend Cosmoandino who are more expensive but they are worth it (stop at the good photo stops, great knowledge of area and geology, picks up particular volcanic rocks). Very good

Despite a long off road trip this place is a must see while you are in Atacama. The view, colours, flora and fauna are incredible.

Along with the Altiplanic Laggons it's the best place to take hundreds os photos. It's 130 km from San Pedro de Atacama, but the last part has no roads, you go through a non road, like in a rally! We could se the ALMA PROJECT antennas, we saw the other side of the Licancabur volcano, we saw an structure called... More
