No men can create what nature can. The walk up hill is a bit of a challenge but the view is breath taking. Don't foprget to bring at least one big bottle of water, you are going to need it in the atacamadessert.

Too bad we came here with friends... It is the perfect place to enjoy an amazing sunset with your partner. The colors of the rocks with the sunset in Valle de la Luna is something I won't forget ever! Definitely a MUST!

Definitelly ride a bike here! That's my advice.. if you go with a tour you will have a limited time for every sight you will stop at. But this will be one of the most amazing natural wonders you will ever see so you need more time to enjoy it, and stop wherever you like; you will ride your bike... More

It is a very interesting geological feature affording some beautiful views. It came as a welcome relief after the disappointment experienced at the dusty ad vastly overrated (and ludicrously overpriced) village of San Pedro, with its claustrophobic narrow streets blocked by cars and chock-full of monotonous mock adobe buildings, and its rowdy nocturnal parties fuelled with enough drugs and spirits... The valley is very beautiful, but at some times of the year can be crowded with tourists. The valley is fragile, so treat the dunes and rock formations with care, so future visitors can enjoy them.

Again AHHH I'm the worst person to review such things! I get bored so quickly - I'll stand there for five minutes, admiring what it in front of me, and then I'll want to move on. I certainly do not think that the Valley of the Moon is worth the money of a single trip - instead, do something like... More

It's pretty magical climbing to the precipice and up the sandy dunes. The views are worth it. Climb it in winter as it must be sweltering in summer!!

nice place for a relaxing afternoon in scenic surroundings. you can walk up to a ridgetop to watch sunset. Unfortunately the place is overrun by visitors and overregulated by the park rangers. There is a entrance fee

Beautiful piece of nature, a real dream to visit. My only negative was that mother nature decided to blow a sand storm on the afternoon we visited the area, this stopped us from enjoying the views fully. Otherwise picture perfect.

Visit the "Valle de La Luma" is an incredible experience due to the exquisite views of the big dunes and the blue sky. The walk is short and is worth going all way to the top to take pictures. Bring your best camera!
