We decided to visit the geisers late in the day and were rewarded by being the only people there! We missed the crowds and the tall steam plumes but saw all of the thermal action and had a fabulous picnic lunch (furnished by our hotel- the Awasi) and a long soak in the large pool. More

The Geisers are very, very nice! They only have water spraying in the early mornig. Take care, some turists are not carefull and die in this atraction, the water is really hot, and if you're not with a guide is not obvious to see how dangerous the geiseres are! More

Most hotels offer this excursion at 5 00 am with breakfast at the top. Do not go with rental car, it is not readily accessible due to poor road conditions. Highly recommended. More
