Guides, especially the husband, are not only extremely knowledgeable and passionate, but also hilarious. Make sure you do the tour at a time of the month when the moon is not very big, so you can see more, and I'd recommend the midnight-2am tour. Never been into astronomy like I am as a result of this tour. Awesome telescope views,... More

I booked a stargazing tour with spaceobs and did not regret my choice. My instructor was the canadian guy (forgot his name). He was funny and explained the stars in a very simple and easy to understand manner. He is very knowledgeable about the stars and black whole and the universe. We started off with a briefing on the stars... More

My husband is an amateur astronomer and this tour was heaven for him. It is amazing well done. If you have any interest in the stars at all, definitely do this excursion. It starts with an interesting, informative and fun talk about the celestial objects and constellations. There was even information that my husband didn't know and he's been doing... More

Booking the tour with the space obs was just the best decision! It started, that walking through san pedro we got kind of lost and would have missed the tour, but after calling, they just picked us up from were we waited - what a service, thank you so much for that! Less was a perfect astronomy teacher - also... More

Of all the activities we enjoyed in San Pedro an evening with Spaceorbs provided amongst the most memorable. San Pedro is a renowned location for astronomy and we were captivated by the evening and the introduction and explanation of the night sky above. The team are knowledgable and well practised at delivering a presentation, that is after all a complex... More

The tour is very good for newbies and amateurs who don't know too much about stars. Mrs. Alessandra made a good.introducing about how stars move and her husband, the astronomer, answer all my question very gently. I gave 3 stars because the 2 ladies, that sells the package in Caracolles street, are grumpy. Looks like they were doing a favor... More

We were trying to find another agent recommended by LP but we didn't find it instead we found SPACE referred by other people! Though we also had difficulty finding their sign on the Main Street. We were lucky to get on their English tour on our first night! So if you have short time in town make sure you book... More

There are several "stargazing" tour operators, so be sure that you are booking with Space Star Tours (they have an office on Caracoles as well as a website where you can book directly). We had an amazing time on this tour. The group--ours ended up being about 20 people--is picked up centrally in town and taken to the observation point.... More

Great value, really interesting description of the night sky, and amazing views of the moon, stars and planets. The couple that ran the tour were excellent, very friendly and funny. If you already know all about astronomy, you might be less impressed, and if you've heard about how clear the night sky is in Atacama and are going for that,... More

We booked a tour at midnight, they gave us the exact address where the bus should pick us up to get to the desert but they anticipate the tour of an hour and nobody adviced us. There was only a paper on the door of the agency but it's not possible to think that everyone could pass in front of... More
