The tour of Prek Toal is mostly on the water and is fantastic. I saw so many birds, especially painted storks, spoonbills, eagles, egrets, etc. A special sight is a large pond of painted storks on a pond of lotuses

I joined the trip to Prek Toal with Osmose. They came to my hotel at 5:55 AM, picked up five more passengers, then headed to the boat for Prek Toal. With six participants, each only had to pay US$ 85. The guide had had a good command of the English language and was able to tell us about the basics... More

I was originally a little sceptical about this trip- my Dad is a keen birder but I was doubtful that there would be high quality information or acces to birds. As it turned out, the guide was enthusiastic and informative and seemed to know his stuff, whilst also doing a great job of showing us round the floating villages and... More

That area is so attractive for bird watching and there are many kind of birds over there and local people are so friendly and my clients are so enjoyed and they are so interested in co-tourism, and they offered some gifts for boat driver, area guards ( environment),etc.

If you don't want to get up early then go somewhere else! Saw the sun rise, and set on this tour. Learned about the conservation efforts done here, and how they are teaching the villagers through their children how to maintain and sustain their environment. You spend most of he day in a boat and get to see the bird... More

The various species of storks and cormorants were nesting and we were able to get within 50 feet of two huge nesting trees. The boat driver really knew what he was doing and he was great at spotting birds. We saw 26 species of birds, including the Spot-billed Pelican, Greater and Lesser Adjutants and Openbill Stork in 3 hours of... More

My sister and I did this day trip with Veasna - it was quite pricey but the price was a bit less than we thought as there were 8 people on our trip altogether. We were initially quoted $98 but ended up paying $90 (US). It was an early start, we were picked up just after 5am, and the trip... More

We were hiding in a camouflage tent waiting for the birds to come. Observing them from a distance with binoculars was an extremely amazing experience. The tour guide was helpful and friendly. This tour could be ranked as an adventure one. Worth the money!

Loved this tour. Paid a non profit to take me on it. They even provided me breakfast. The guide was extremely professional, knew all his birds and came armed with professional quality telescope and binocs. Saw sarus cranes and many other birds including waders as we went to mangroves.
