Nessebar is a nice little town with several old churches worth having a look at. It is obvious this used to be a charming little town, but it has been overtaken by tourist-trap-shops selling massproduced souvernirs and restaurants with loud bouncers. We enjoyed the walk around town, did a little shopping, had one great and one not so great meal,... More

A truly beautiful and quaint village to visit at least once if in the vicinity. Lots of shops around and many little streets and restaurants to explore Do not go too late in the evening though. By 2230hrs most of the places start closing

Visit nesebar whilst in Bulgaria and wander around the streets, experience the historical digs which you can see and do some shopping in the town. Plenty of restaurants many with sea views and lots of cafes to sit and take a break. This is part of the experience of Bulgaria and you can get there from sunny beach by the... More

Old Nesebar is very nice, very romantic, very touristic, I loved strolling in the narrow alleys and end up on the seaside. I spent the whole day there and I still could stay.

We taxied to Nesebar 3 times in a week because it's by far the nicest place in the area. Lovely restaurants, quaint squares and cute souvenir shops. As with most of the area it doesn't exactly compare to parts of Italy or Greece on any level, but relatively speaking Nesebar is a nice place to spend a few hours away... More

We went there twice, first in the morning (10-12). We had a very nice walk around with very few people there. There is plenty of very nice coffee shops where you can take a seat and have a very good coffee. They are not expensive at all :) Secondly we went there in the evening to have a dinner at... More

The reviews of this place are quite mixed but all I can say is that I loved my time there. Sure there are plenty shops but generally, the goods are not imported from China and in a number of cases, the wares are being made there right in front of you. The town reminded me of a maze where you... More

A place to visit if you're on the Bulgarian coast. It is true that everything turned into something commercial, but that happens in any part of the world where tourists come.

Less commercial than nearby Sunny Beach, host of wonderful places to eat at and at quite reasonable rates. Buildings lovely, Can be crowded, maybe try visiting early in the day while most people are on the Beach.
