This is a nice little town to walk around in, but much of the old nice buildings are unfortunately turned in to cheap souvenir shops and not very good restaurants. Conclusion: If you would like to see something other than the beach on your holiday in Bulgaria. Go and take a look, but don't expect too much of it. Evereyone... More

Very beautiful little fishing village five minutes taxi ride from sunny beach. Breath taking views with lots of old, quaint little shops and buildings and plenty of restaurants to choose from. It really is a step back in time that everyone should see. I have been three times and loved it every time. I got a boat taxi back to... More

It suppose to be an Amazing old Town but it is much closer to chinese market. You cant really see and enjoy the atmosphere bcouse it all covered with plastics and other rubbish. Far too much. Only if get off the bitten track can find an unspoiled pices of what it really was. Worth visiting anyway.

What a little gem of hidden alleyways and lovely churches and shops. We went with young children and they really loved exploring. We did not bother with the tickets to go in to the museums/churches, preferring to explore. We subsequently went back and visited the archaeology museum, which was excellent. The cobbled streets in the Old Town can be difficult... More

Very nice, historical, romantic place. Nice for walking, nice restaurants, a lot of souvenirs stores. If I get chance, soon, I am there again :)

Old Nessebar is an impressive city where the old architecture inspires the mind and soul. You can feel the warmth of residents and the food is excellent.

Beautiful old town with some beautiful buildings. There are many many shops you can get your gifts or Bulgarian memorabilia from as well as well made designer replica handbags. Beware however of woman in latest designer leisure wear, grabbing you & trying to get you to buy magnetic necklaces! She's very persistent! Keep hold of your bags/ valuables as she... More

Good day. Went twice as there isn't much to do near Sunnybeach. Drinks and food was lovely and good quality at the various restaurants we stopped at. Lots of little shops to look at as you wander the streets but a little repetitive. First time we went on a Thompson trip, my view don't bother as we only had two... More

Absolutely worth the visit. Cozy place with very nice well preserved old houses. Distinctive wooden upper storeys. Amazing Byzantine churches interspersed throughout the city. Saint Stephen's is a must see with the inside painting preserved since the XVth century. Los of little shops selling arts and crafts, some made by the locals ( trust me, I watched a lady weaving...
