This is a pretty well preserved town. Strolling around gives you a nice feel of what it must have been like. It definitely has too many shops, but if you look past that, it is quite nice. We visited in May, when it was not too crowded. Summer with hordes of tourists could be less charming.

Love going to Nessebar for long weekends, especially out of the high season when I can really enjoy the town. There's a lot going on out of the season too - I found a facebook page which lists all the events: https://www.facebook.com/ShareNessebar?fref=ts My personal favorite is the fish festival in end of October/beginning of November. Whilst there are a number of historical buildings in this small town there are also a number of more modern business's that spoil it so much that it could be compared to having a modern shopping mall in the Tower of London. Almost ever café and business has someone outside trying to get you to go and either drink and... More

This town has some old ruins, nice little streets and coastal scenery! Takes about 2 hours to walk around and look at souveniors. Do have a dinner there as well while watching the sun set!

I visited Old Nessebar with a few friends during the summer season. The surrounding scenery in the area is absolutely breathtaking. This is combined with ruins dating back thousands of years, boats around the coast, and very good eats, be sure to try tsatsa! You will definitely always remember you time here!

This place is definitely worth a visit, it has lovely cobbled streets and walking along them in the sun is really nice. Lots of choice in restaurants and bars to stop and refresh! Enjoy! X
