We went to Nessebar in September and we had an wonderful time. We stayed at Arsena Hotel but I won't say anything more about it, I think the reviews that you can already find here are very true. I will talk about the restaurants you can find mainly in Old Nessebar. Our holiday lasted 10 days and 7 days out... more

Old Nessbar is fine, we went this year there and we found a cozy room with only 30 euros, with seaview and good condition. What was the worst experience of the whole trip was a restaurant, at the entrance in the island that xcan be considered the old Nessebar, a restaurant named Sea Wolf. Yes, they were wolfs and they've... more

We spent 2 weeks in Old Nessebar in early June 2008 and loved it as a base. It is stuffed full of ancient monuments and churches : wonderful exploring for the history buff. You can buy a book about Old Nessbar which wil give you a potted history and a guide to all the beautiful old churches. They haven`t quite... more

Just like anywhere you go, keep a hold of your wallet and dont use the money changers on the street. Likewise use the public transport as the taxis will rip you off. Old Nessebar is full of narrow cobbled streets and a... more

The old city itself is very nice, but parking your car can be challenging. The best way would be to park your car before reaching the bridge that links the old and the new town. Should you decide to park inside the old town, go to the left not to the right. To the left there are a lot of... more

We took an organised trip to Nessebar which included a guided tour and a snack and drink in a restaurant . You can do this much cheaper yourselve. We decided to stay longer and got the local bus back which only cost us 80p for 2 adults and 2 small children!!. It is a nice little town with lots and... more

I was rather disappointed with Nessebar. It is very pretty but you have to fight around the vehicles which are clogging every street to actually see this. I thought as it is an historic preserved town that vehicles would be banned from the streets there but I was obviously wrong. And it's the same story with Sozopol. It doesn't take... more
