Visiting the aquarium was a great experience with my kids... They were amazed seeing such different animals that they mostly only get to see on the TV or books... Right before you come into the property people can see some alligators and turtles through the glass, even those who are walking on the street can have a small taste on... More

It´s a good place to visit if there is nothing else to do, for a rainy day, or kids to get entertained. The good side is, they have free transportation from/to the port. I really expected something more sophisticated due to the propaganda! The biologists try to keep up their job, government ought to give more support and invest more... More

I never thought that I could find at Ubatuba an aquarium with the standards of international aquariums such as the one in Monterrey, California! This place rocks! You can see piranas, Amazonian species, marine species of all sort, even sharks, aligators, penguins and other wonderful animals - and they seem happy there!

Very small aquarium! But I give my compliments for their effort to make it a nice place! Everyone knows how hard is to get any help in Brasil to maintain places like this, and they are really doing a great job! My son went crazy when he saw the sharks!!!

The Aquarium is rather small, you will be through it in less than one hour. The tanks are well kept (for brazilian standard). However, the "big" tank with the sharks etc. is definitely to small for those large animals - thats rather a downer. The Kaimans are nice to see. I have exepted more fish from the Amazonas region. Very... More

Located in the quaintt boutique area of Ubatuba, this small aquarium plays host to sharks, rays, seahorses, jellyfish, and some playful penguins, among others. "Petting" area with rays, sea stars, starfish, urchins, and sea cucumbers. Nice little cafe at the end with outdoor seating facing the water.

This aquarium is great for small children. It was great for my 3 year old. If you are an adult, you will not be impressed. The penguins are very friendly. The café in the aquarium is awesome. You can get great coffee, fresh squeezed orange juice and pao de queijo and enjoy the great view. They have a playground right... More

Perhaps I am spoiled by how incredible the aquarium in Western Australia is, but I thought the Ubatuba Aquarium was really, really average. Lots of small, poorly maintained and presented tanks with pretty boring fish. Really smelly and not air conditioned. There is also a section of preserved animals in formaldehyde (like a dolphin and its baby) which is half... More
