Great surfing, great community and great people. Perfect place to pick up your first surf board and get in the water. Caught my first wave in Itamambuca! What a place.

Itamambuca beach is long and beautiful, but better for surfing than swimming, as it usually has quite a big swell and strong current. good waves guys...if you're like you can get nice barrels by the right side of the beach. nice atmosphere, good looking people, have fun and relax. best beach in SP.

Great surf school on the right corner where the river meets the sea! Well protected from pollution and constructions.

It's a good beach to spend the weekend ,rarely will you see a beautiful scenery like in "Itamanbuca beach" . For people that like surfing this beach is considered one of the best places to do it. Itamambuca beach is nothing less than a pearl! Midsize to small neach, never crowded, great sand and the water clean and warm. Surely worth the while for any beach lover!

I spent 3 days at Itamambuca beach right before Christmas. The beach was not crowded at all, though it was not empty either. This beach is well know for its good waves, young and nice people. Lots of small inns where u can spend your nights. Its a very intersting place to be if u want to be close to the nature.
