Itamambuca is one of the most beautiful spots on the northern coast of Sao Paulo - definitely worth visiting. It doesn't get crowded, lots of family with kids and a breathtaking atmosphere. The beach is surrounded by a fresh water creek and stunning mountains covered with native forest. The only downside is getting there due to the poor quality of... More

This beach is perfect for surfing with warme sea and great waves during all the year. The best part to practice surfing is at the right side, going down the 25 street, where also can find places to take a drink, eat, rent surf boards and also rent umbrellas. Is very close to Ubatuba, arround 12 kms, so you can... More

This beach is amazing, great for surfing, big for sunbathing and with a huge complex before entering it, so you can stay next to it and you have some facilities that you don't have in beaches that are more isolated.

My husband loves surfing, so we decided to step by this city and take a look at it. It's an outstanding sightseeing... Very beautiful and wavy sea, besides, it's a very well-preserved beach.

Great surfing, great community and great people. Perfect place to pick up your first surf board and get in the water. Caught my first wave in Itamambuca! What a place.

Itamambuca beach is long and beautiful, but better for surfing than swimming, as it usually has quite a big swell and strong current. However, if you walk around to the far right side of the beach, there is a big natural swimming pool where the river meets the ocean, which is perfect for swimming. The water in the pool is... More
