Really cool place with a river that feeds into the ocean. You can chill out on an small island of sand on the river or hangout on the beach or barraca. There are a lot of people here, but nothing compared to Praia Grande. Service at the barraca nearest the river was not great, the waiters do not try very... More

This is a very beautiful beach, just about 20 minutes from the center of Ubatuba by car. There is some nice private weekend houses, but not much hotels, so this is a good beach to enjoy the nature without the crowd. There are some waves also, take your board.

a stunning beach with Atlantic rain forest behind, a river at both ends of the beach coming to join the sea, a few facilities but mostly a beautifully empty and spacious beach, good for surfing as evidenced by the (mostly men but yes some women) doing their pre surf warm up on the sand early morning.

This beach was really awesome... The ocean was crystal clear... There was very white and clean sand too... This is located outside of the city, on a local residential condo area... The beach is very calm and makes it possible to enjoy sea swimming with the kids..

Our favourite beach in Ubatuba! Beautiful, quiet, and peaceful. There's also a nice little shack there that serves food and drink.

Estuary had rocks for the kids to jump off at the end of Itambuca beach. they rent out kayaks there too. Corner has nice waves but waves were spread up and down the 4 km beach.

Great beach to take a run, layout, and enjoy the sunshine. Beautiful views of the ocean and mountains and well worth your day when in ubatuba.

Itamambuca is one of the most beautiful spots on the northern coast of Sao Paulo - definitely worth visiting. It doesn't get crowded, lots of family with kids and a breathtaking atmosphere. The beach is surrounded by a fresh water creek and stunning mountains covered with native forest. The only downside is getting there due to the poor quality of... More

This beach is perfect for surfing with warme sea and great waves during all the year. The best part to practice surfing is at the right side, going down the 25 street, where also can find places to take a drink, eat, rent surf boards and also rent umbrellas. Is very close to Ubatuba, arround 12 kms, so you can... More
