Very charming neighborhood. Fancy restaurants and fancy stores. This is actually one of the wealthiest neighborhood in São Paulo.

This is one the prime locations in São Paulo. Located near Paulista, Rebouças, Brasil, and 9 de Julho Avenues, this neighborhood can be a great point to set your SP base. Although seen as an expensive neighborhood, there is plenty of eating/dining/sleeping affordable options. Nightlife is also available for all sorts of budgets. Try the Augusta region (downtown side) for... More

A really nice area with a huge sports club, stratospherical high end mall, restaurants, trees. Walking around is nice. Good place to spend time.

Walk the Alamedas because the hills between are killers. Some creative shops. But go to the other side of Paulista for some reality and a little bohemian atnosphere..

Jardins has, beside the shopping malls, the best exclusive shopping in São Paulo. It's also a place to watch people - and to be seen.

Jardins, the “gardens” of the city, multiple around Sao Paulo but the one most visited as its closest to the city center is Jardins Paulista, where we stayed. Oscar de Friere is similar to Rodeo Drive or Spring Street in Soho with its decadent window displays and every notable fashion label making a statement there. Very safe neighborhood to retreat... I guess this is where to see and be seen. Nice atmosphere, cool bars and lovely surroundings. If I would live or hang out a lot in this city, this would be my place.

This is a fun neighbourhood for having a coffee, people watching and shopping (if you can afford it). If visiting SP and self-catering, there's an excellent supermarket in the West of Jardins. It's one of the richer areas of the city, so it's quite illuminating on the state of Brazil that the streets are falling apart and there are gaping... More
