As a single female travelling in Brazil I was very pleased to stay in the Jardins District; it was so clean and safe. There were lots of amazing shops, museums and restaurants.

I love walking around Jardins on a Saturday afternoon... window shopping... stopping at cafes... eating at a nice restaurant... people watching... having amazing ice cream... it is the best neighborhood to wander around and enjoy the day...

There are two streets to especially remind, besides the famous Paulista: Oscar Freire and Haddock Lobo (they intersect each other, by the way), where you can enjoy... More

This is my favorite place, because you can just stroll around and find all types of nice things: art, shopping, restaurants, bistros and cafes, bookstores (love them) and people! Just love Jardins!

Great area for dining, night life and shopping. Full of cool people on weekends. There are still very preserved 50's style buildings and houses and quiet narrow streets.

Although seen as an expensive neighborhood, there is plenty of eating/dining/sleeping affordable options. Nightlife is also available for all sorts of budgets. Try the Augusta region (downtown side) for... More
