The area captivated me. It has truly given me a different expectation of Sao Paolo and it is away from the chaos in other parts of the city. It might be a bubble from the reality of the city but it is quite amazing nonetheless.

Out hotel bell desk recommended this place when we asked him where we should go for the day. This area has a lot of brand name boutiques and high-end shops where I believe the wealthy residents shop. I dont care much for brand name shopping and I was looking for something more local and "real". we walked, had coffee in... More

You can never get bored in Jardins. Best places to shop, best places to eat, you can find everything you are looking for: clothes, shoes, decor, ice cream, books... name it, you have it!! I simply love this part of town!

This is a region I live very near to. It is a very nice neighborhood, lots of different stores, restaurantes, apartments and residential area. Expensive to do anything, except walking and taking pictures.

I love this area! Safe to walk around, even at night. Great restaurants and stores. It a busy area so parking can be a struggle. Use taxi so you don't waste time trying to find a parking spot.

I used to live close by. The Oscar Freire region is a nice place to walk around on a Saturday afternoon, having a gelato, window shopping and stopping by for lunch or dinner. My favourite spot to eat is the Ritz restaurant.

Enjoy a half day or evening in this beautiful, tree-lined, safe, and glitzy neighborhood of Sao Paulo. Perfect to stroll around, have lunch or dinner, and people watch. Lots of restaurants and cafes to choose from, as well as higher-end shops. Visit Oscar Freire road, Rua Augusta for quirky little shops, and Rua Hoddock Lobo for more restaurants and condominiums.... Lovely area with lots of tree lined streets in an otherwise large urban sprawl. Plenty of eating options and one of the main shopping areas close by.

Staying in Jardins

Neighborhood Profile
Jardins
Located just below important Paulista Avenue, Jardins is the junction of four smaller neighborhoods: Jardim Paulista, Jardim América, Jardim Europa and Jardim Paulistano. It is an upper-class area, offering a variety of things to do, including shopping, museums and parks. The neighborhood is well known for “Oscar Freire”– the most luxurious street in the city, packed with high-end boutiques. In Jardins you will also find a trendy museum, São Paulo Museum of Image and Sound (MIS), which people often line up for hours to visit. If green space is what you're after, take time to relax at Trianon Park, a refuge in the heart of Paulista Avenue.
