We drove around in search of the shopping mall. This neighbourhood is what adds to the variety of Sao Paulo, lots of trees and plants, the names of the streets are European countries which makes you feel you have left the chaos of the city for a few minutes.

This is the place to be in Sao Paulo. Nice shops, restaurants and architecture. The manhattan of SP. Oscar Freire street is compared to Rodeo Drive from SP....nothing like it but nice to walk and watch the wealthy people of SP. Walk the neighbourhood and enjoy.

Jardins (or...The Gardens) area is a renomated fashionable and sophisticated area of this big town, a mix between residential and comercial, high priced appartaments with wealthy consumers are always followed by luxury brands & labels with it´s glamourous shops , good restaurants and busy night life. Walking can be quite dangerous specially at night. Make sure where you want to... More

Walking through Jardins is a great way to soend a whole day. Plenty of restaurants, cafes, people watching, shopping, architecture, etc. And very close to the bustling Paulista Avenue. Best location to stay in SP.

Packed with good restaurants, cafes and the fanciest shops, it also has one or two simple "botecos" (bars) giving it an interesting mixture. Jardins is the right place if one wants to get a feeling of the "old aristocracy" life in São Paulo. People there are not usually overdressed nor pretentious (in flagrant contrast with the noveau-riches from Alphaville) but... More

Really enjoyed my stay at Renaissance hotel in the Jardins district and walking around and exploring this neighborhood. Lots of good eateries, small shops and residents walking their dogs !!.. It is peaceful, green and very calming in otherwise crazy packed and busy Sao Paulo. Highly recommended...

The region scratched for 28 streets is one of the most exclusive areas of the cidade.7 stands out for the quality of services offered, such as the top-rated restaurants in gastronomic guides, and many bars. It borders the Paulista Avenue, United States Street and 9 de Julio Avenue or, for many, the Brigadeiro Luis Antonio and Rebouças.

This had a lot of different stores to chose from along with the usual stores, so if you are looking for shopping (not trinket type of shopping) this is a great stop to make! Great coffee shops to stop along the way and relax while enjoying a great day of shopping.

Staying in Jardins

Neighborhood Profile
Jardins
Located just below important Paulista Avenue, Jardins is the junction of four smaller neighborhoods: Jardim Paulista, Jardim América, Jardim Europa and Jardim Paulistano. It is an upper-class area, offering a variety of things to do, including shopping, museums and parks. The neighborhood is well known for “Oscar Freire”– the most luxurious street in the city, packed with high-end boutiques. In Jardins you will also find a trendy museum, São Paulo Museum of Image and Sound (MIS), which people often line up for hours to visit. If green space is what you're after, take time to relax at Trianon Park, a refuge in the heart of Paulista Avenue.
