This is an interesting place to go for art viewing and for a coffe in front of one of the oldest gardens in town. Take care because it is surrounded by unsafe streets. Go by taxi and leave by taxi.

The architecture is simply exceptional. There was a Giacometti installation. I am not a huge fan of his work, but it is well presented in the space. They have a nice collection of painting as well. But, for me, it was primarily about the interior/exterior architecture.

A lovely museum with great installations, exhibitions and a special section of Brazilian art. Situated in a great park, it is well worth a visit. Next to the park (full of wonderful plants and huge trees) one can also vist an old train station nearby. The Pinacoteca is one of the must-see stops if you happen to visit Sao Paulo.
