Running trails, bike paths, and yoga and capoeira sessions let locals and visitors alike keep fit, while a clutch of museums and galleries — such as the museums of Modern and Contemporary Art, all designed by master Brazilian architect Oscar Niemeyer — gives the brain a good workout. The impressive Museu Afro Brasil and fiery Auditório Ibirapuera are two of the park's treasures. « less

When I went there, it was fantastic, really. There is a planetarium (not a very good one, by the way) and a good restaurant. A lot of green area to walk and enjoy the tranquility of the place. Do take a lot of pictures there! There is so many types of flora and ocassional running by fauna.. Simply wonderful. More

A nice place to relax, walk and even watch some performances on arts and exibithions. A park in the middle of a huge city that, for me, resembles NYC. Enjoy it during the weekends (crowded!) or in the early morning or evening. Avoid it by night because you can find yourself a little bit lonely... More

live and thrill, peace and solitude, sparkling noise, silent nature... all this contradictions are for real in one place, it will depend on which area of the park you decide to visit. The Japanese garden is my favorite. You will find popular food in many corners, ice creams on the walk, or if you prefer comfortable seating and service at... More

The park was designed by Oscar Niemeyer and landscape by Burle Marx! It's quite nice to check the buildings such as Oca, Auditorium. There are 2 museums inside the park, the MAM (Modern Art Museum) and Afro-Brazilian Museum both worth a visit! Stop by to have a coffee or lunch at the MAM's Restaurant. More

One of the few and best green open spaces left in Sao Paulo. Few playgrounds with equipment for children. Great for chilling-out or walking. More
