Running trails, bike paths, and yoga and capoeira sessions let locals and visitors alike keep fit, while a clutch of museums and galleries — such as the museums of Modern and Contemporary Art, all designed by master Brazilian architect Oscar Niemeyer — gives the brain a good workout. The impressive Museu Afro Brasil and fiery Auditório Ibirapuera are two of the park's treasures. « less

A park to stroll, do some sports, drink some coconut water or just relax from the big big city surrounding it...

If you are a person who likes to run, skate, bike, or walk--and the traffic and noise of São Paulo has you feeling beat up, take a break in Ibirapuera Park. The park is a lovely escape in the mega city of 40 million people. It covers approximately 554 acres. I went there for a morning run, mid-week in July.... More

Its an excellent park to visit when you are in Sao Paulo and the crossing from my apartment in Vila Mariana ( a very middle class neighborhood) to the park was amazing. There is this amazing flyover crossing of a 16 lane motorway from Vila Mariana to Ibirapuera Park which is itself was awesome. There was heavy traffic at the... More

Ok it's a park but it's a must see. Me and friend went jogging in the park, perfect experience, phenomenal weather and great trails. Beware of traffic, although huge the park is PACKED with people on Sundays so you slalom between people and expect a few close encounters with kids on skateboards or bycicles. Street vendors serve coconut water and... More

I knew from travelling guide that the park is big. However, I didn't think it's huge. I went to this place by Taxi. I spent around 3 hours walking happily in here.

Nice park in Sao Paulo - an oasis of peace and quiet in what is otherwise a very busy and noisy city. It is a little bit difficult to get to if using the subway. Has some nice museums in it. Lovely to have a stroll around on a nice day.
