Running trails, bike paths, and yoga and capoeira sessions let locals and visitors alike keep fit, while a clutch of museums and galleries — such as the museums of Modern and Contemporary Art, all designed by master Brazilian architect Oscar Niemeyer — gives the brain a good workout. The impressive Museu Afro Brasil and fiery Auditório Ibirapuera are two of the park's treasures. « less

Ibirapuera is a great place to walk, to seat under the trees and rest or to practice sports. you can rent a bike to go for a ride.

Have a nice walk among runners, bikers, dogs and kids. Look for the museums inside the park, they are worth visiting too.

Nice park, has nice Museums and Restaurants, good for a walk if it´s a sunny day. What bothers me is that it is a park of eucalyptus, non native vegetation and also it´s too far from the metro lines... It´s a classic for Sao Paulo though. Whorty the visit.

When in São Paulo, don't miss this wonderful park. It's always full of people enjoying open air activities. There are some museums in there. A lovely fountain.

This is a micro Cosmo of São Paulo. It's our Central Park Arrive early during weekends, specially Sunday. When jogging, prefer the outer trail. Enjoy the atmosphere, from tai shi early in the day to capoeira around 10 pm. It's a big place, relatively safe. A good idea is to have breakfast (before or after), or a natural, fresh fruit... More

Ibira (like we say here) is the biggest park in Sao ]paulo. Full of people, many like to do sports, like running, biking or just walking. There are kindergartens for kids, you can spend your hole day there. If you wish,Enjoy the Museums too, inside the park!

Nice because there is a lake and is full of trees. I live in São Paulo and I do not enjoy it very much but my friends, in general love it. You can run, take a walk or just enjoy. Is is really crowded on the weekends, specially on Sundays.

It´s nice to have a walk or enjoy a little time of peace, of course, it´s depending on where you are in the park. You can also hire a bicycle or have some fun skating under the "marquise". Good for kids too. Avoid the sundays, very crowded, the restrooms are dirty, without toilet paper. There is a planetarium in the... More
