I loved my visit to the Aquarium. The animals are healthy and have well designed enclosures, with adequate space and the correct ambientation. They are very active which makes the visit more enjoyable. The meerkats are the best. It's not a long visit, it's all inside and has a payed parking lot. I found it waaay better than the Sao... First time going to an aquarium as a grown up and I think that this one is really cool. I'm sure there's no way to compare it to the ones in Orlando, or that one in Baltimore however if you are around it's totally worth visiting. I took my 22 month old boy there and he was amazed to say... More

Considered a reference in treatment and exposure of animals, the Aquarium of Sao Paulo is the largest aquarium in Latin America and opened in 2006, with 15 000 m² and 2 million liters of water. Single thematic aquarium Brazil, the complex takes guests to feel immersed in the environments that have approximately 3000 specimens of about 300 species of animals.

Have been there eight months before, a great experience and now it is really better: there is a new area that looks like an airport to let you to Australia, Africa, north and South Pole and there are waiting for you canguroos and bears. A really must go!

I went to the Aquarium with my parents and we thought it was great. The structure is pretty impressive, and we thought the animals were being well looked-after. The manatee's tank was one of my favorite parts. There are not only fishes, but also mammals, like kangaroos, polar bears, seals, etc. I only thought the access is a bit difficulty,... More

I've been to over a dozen aquariums around the world and I was a little worried about going to this one. The cost is $R60 (about $20USD at the exchange rate when I was there). When I first set into the exhibits I was kind of worried that it was going to be a weak aquarium. I made my way... More

I was shocked to see how depressed and sad many animals looked, specially the otter. When I saw the otter I thought his partner must have died recently, because he was really sad, and barely managed to keep himself going up the surface to breathe. But when I asked a worker from the Aquarium he told me the otter had... More

I took my 4 year old granddaughter. She was very excited running from tank to tank. There were sharks, turtles, bats, snakes, crocodiles and of course fish. But the very very best for her was the tank with the live mermaid. None of the kids could leave watching her. If this attraction is still on, make sure to leave it... More
