It´s a great area to enjoy on a daily exercises or weekends but unfortunately is being not properly care by the municipality. From leisure equipment to garden maintenance and security, everything is lacking.

A large park where one can practice several different activities. The footpath around the like is pleasant and well-maintained. Many people (including my self) consider the park the best in the place for jogging or walking. There are also activities for kids and several bars and cafeterias around the park area.

It is the local where "locals" walk, jogging, entertain, eat picnic, etc. Definitely a place to see and being seen in Campinas. There are places inside the park that are under renovation or out of order due to need to repair. During Sundays and holidays one side of the local avenue is closed to cars and you will see people... Take a walk inside the park, it's very beautiful. Drink a coconut water after running around the lake in the morning. In the afternoon there are mosquitoes, it's annoying.

though it's not so exceptional. There is a lake, with a footpath around it; a half of this path is always in the shade while the other is always sunny. There are activities for children, such as a playground and also one can have a boattrip at the lake.

It is good to walking around it or running, for the people from Campinas, as I am, it is sad because it was a great place to be with family and kids, but now, it is dirty, it is dangerous and there is not more the same environment, it is one of the only place in Campinas there is some... More

a nice place to take a walk or running. they have a nice electric train that goes around the park if you'd like to see around without working out. on Sunday it's great for doing marathon here because of the car-free lane alongside the red lane on the road

If you do not go to Taquaral you can not say that you know Campinas. This is the best-loved place in the city. Early morning is the best time to go. On sundays, the surrounding avenues are closed to traffic and is even possible to bike from/to/kilometers from there.
