It's a very nice public park for walking, jogging, picknicks and observe the nature. There are huts serving food, drinks and desserts. Take a ride in the trolley system. Visit the caravel based on a replica from era of discoverings.

It's the biggest park in Campinas and you can run. 3 km , 5 km or 6 k m or you can just spend Time with your kid in the playground on the water with pedalinho, or visiting the boot which was used to discover Brazil. It's a great place

Parque Portugal (aka Lagoa do Taquaral) is the best place in Campinas for those who love running or just walking around. This very democratic park is nice also for children and old people.

Very nice park in the heart of Campinas. Not much to do but 2 km around the lake is good for walk or jogging. Generally, more than relax than anything else, especially during off season. But the juice bar in front of entrance is amazing!

Large park surrounding Taquaral lake, good for walking or jogging. I was there on Sunday, some of the street along the park are closed to traffic, lots of folks taking advantage of this.

It´s a great area to enjoy on a daily exercises or weekends but unfortunately is being not properly care by the municipality. From leisure equipment to garden maintenance and security, everything is lacking.

A large park where one can practice several different activities. The footpath around the like is pleasant and well-maintained. Many people (including my self) consider the park the best in the place for jogging or walking. There are also activities for kids and several bars and cafeterias around the park area.

It is the local where "locals" walk, jogging, entertain, eat picnic, etc. Definitely a place to see and being seen in Campinas. There are places inside the park that are under renovation or out of order due to need to repair. During Sundays and holidays one side of the local avenue is closed to cars and you will see people...
