Very pittoresque with a lot of local fishers earning their living. Very flat beach. Great for swimming. You can see wales after having given birth to the young ones from july to september. It is the second most southern beach of the island, about 30 km from Lagoa da Conceiçao, which is right in the middle of Floripa. More

Pantano do Sul is nice. It's one of the beaches you can drive on the sand. There are many good restaurants. More

the sea is very very calm here and suitable for swimming. much more pleasant than the praia inglesses. make sure you have a bite at BAR de Arante just along the beach front. Unique decorations, delicious seafood. But have a credit card ready though. More
