It's been a poor snow year in the west, and it was here as well. The resort is small, and any new snow was quickly skied out.

Had a fabulous two days skiing here. Much better snow than Jackson. Much friendlier staff and not overpriced. No charge for parking unlike jackson. A nice atmosphere. Worth the drive from jackson.

We skied Grand Targhee as the first stop of a four stop tour that included Targhee, Big Sky, Moonlight Basin and Jackson Hole. The day we spent at Grand Targhee was the best of the four. A truely wonderful ski resort perfect for everyone. The kids area is great for learning tricks or letting the kids run wild. We loved the instructors and the most importantly the snow.

I have been all around the U.S.A and Canada for ski/snowboard vacations. Although this place only has four lifts, it has an amazing amount of skiable terrain. We did a one day excursion to this mountain after skiing Jackson Hole two days earlier.
