Definately the most beautiful church in the city! It is a must go sightseeing! A lot of history and beautiful paintings from Aldo Locatelli. It's on downtown, so very easy to go, with a lot of different thing to see around either!

Not often will you find a church with wall paintings in Brazil so Sao Pellegrino is truly special. The architecture itself is pretty "normal", but once you walk inside you will see what the church is all about. Aldo Locatelli did a great job on the ceiling and walls of the church. Painted not in a traditional manner of fragile Jesus, Locatelli's works make you look at the body from a different angle and impress you by the stoic power of suffering and pain..The Church is certainly worth a visit..

A different church with nice paintings from Aldo Locatelli, italian painting, a fantastic reproduction of Pieta , Michelangelo, a treasure of church. The best in Caxias, splendorous.
