Quite close to the road in places, this has some lovely look out points to the beach. British Council displays in the display area which is by a pond with tortoises.Saw a giant frog down there. Access to the beach behind the display area, but steps as usual.Marmosets handy for photos.

We took here some of the best pictures of our trip to Pipa. You have several signposted paths to choose. It is great to walk inside the "mata atlantica", the local preserved jungle. We saw monkeys and sea turtles. The fare to access the park (10 R$) is worth value.

The mission of this small sanctuary is to educate visitors about the special and fragile nature of the Atlantic Forest system. It is designed and maintained in such a way as to afford the visitor an inside view of why the ecological balance of the forest system is so important to the planet. Go in the morning to walk the... We recently spent four days in Pipa. After a couple of days at the beach, we were up for something different. We spent a couple of hours at the Sanctuary which we greatly enjoyed. The walks are not difficult, and there are varying lengths of trails depending on how much you want to do. We saw one small monkey in... More

This nature reserve is definitely worth a visit. We didn't see that many animals: no turtles, one small snake, lots of little monkeys. The monkeys were really cute and came quite close. It gets nice and cool among the trees and there are some great views of the beaches below. The exhibition is interesting too, so walk all the way... More

This is an excellent park! We didn't know about this park until we arrived in Pipa. And what a pleasant surprise!! You have to pay R$10 (October/14) to enter the park and you can stay there the whole day. You can walk in the bushes, spot some sea turtles and dolphins! It is amazing to see them in their natural... This reserve is about a 30 minute walk (my husband and I walked there) from the center of Pipa, or a quick drive. This is a great activity choice for anyone who loves nature and physical activity. There are 15 different trails but none are very long so you can cover quite a lot of ground in an afternoon. I... More

It's worth the 10 bucks! Breathtaking views, lovely hike, good museum. I haven't seen dolphins but I've got to see lots of sea turtles and monkeys. By the end of the trail just enjoy the beach. Highly recommended!
