We recently spent four days in Pipa. After a couple of days at the beach, we were up for something different. We spent a couple of hours at the Sanctuary which we greatly enjoyed. The walks are not difficult, and there are varying lengths of trails depending on how much you want to do. We saw one small monkey in... More

This nature reserve is definitely worth a visit. We didn't see that many animals: no turtles, one small snake, lots of little monkeys. The monkeys were really cute and came quite close. It gets nice and cool among the trees and there are some great views of the beaches below. The exhibition is interesting too, so walk all the way... More

This is an excellent park! We didn't know about this park until we arrived in Pipa. And what a pleasant surprise!! You have to pay R$10 (October/14) to enter the park and you can stay there the whole day. You can walk in the bushes, spot some sea turtles and dolphins! It is amazing to see them in their natural... This reserve is about a 30 minute walk (my husband and I walked there) from the center of Pipa, or a quick drive. This is a great activity choice for anyone who loves nature and physical activity. There are 15 different trails but none are very long so you can cover quite a lot of ground in an afternoon. I... More

Very interesting and worth to visit. You learn about native plants, turtles, etc.. There are different tours / trails availbale. Nice lookout Point from where we also saw plenty of turtles

It's worth the 10 bucks! Breathtaking views, lovely hike, good museum. I haven't seen dolphins but I've got to see lots of sea turtles and monkeys. By the end of the trail just enjoy the beach. Highly recommended!

Nice and well maintained trails allow you to walk through the wilderness. You need to go by car (ask if the road conditions permit driving down to the museum). The best part are the views down on the beaches and the excellent views for spotting dolphins and wild turtles.

Very nice views, you learn a lot about this part of Mata Atlantica that is very different from the more humid ones in Sao Paulo, nice walk, learn also about flora and fauna, good access to a nice beach

it is ok if you are planing to visit Madeiro beach after walking the short trails since they have stairs going straight down. really not much to see other than a bunch a land tutles in a dirty pond and a great view of Golfinhos Beach and downtown Pipa boats and cliffs from a viewpoint

This is a mini nature preserve with well kept trails, and some wonderful views. Very helpful volunteers. From there one can go down about 160 steps to Madeiro Beach. Bring water. Accessible by public transportation.
