don't miss the sunset any time of the year! If you're in Rio in december, go see the christmas tree.
That´s the place for a ride at sunset... Good lanes for walking or jogging, a park and gardens, all over it´s margins, the big lagoon is beautiful and friendly. Lots of people spend their evenings over there. Astonishing!
The sunset is beautiful and you should go for a walk and have some coconut water. Also going up the Catacumba park is a good choice for exercising and up there you chave a great view from above of the Lagoon.
The forest, mountains and lake which form the backdrop of the Rio landscape are what make this city so marvellous and the lagoon is a wonderful leisure spot. The lagoa Rodrigo de Freitas is where families, couples and friends hang out on the weekends. Great place to walk, jog, cycle, skateboard, have a meal or simply enjoy a cóco gelado... More
Rio de Janeiro is beautiful all around, but this is my absolutely favorite place! Is incredible such a big city has this sort of nature beauty right in the middle of it. This lake offers a huge variety of things to do and see. You can either walk your dog, go cycling or jogging around the lake,or even go rowing or pedalling in it, you are always surprised with something new. However, if have the chance, don't miss the sunset view from Palaphyta Kitch, an open air lounge by the lake.
Whether you are here for working out or just checking out the amazing views, this is a great place to take a walk and enjoy Rio's landscape. If you enjoy working out, I strongly suggest this place. There are plenty of restaurants near by that allow this to be a great late afternoon breather.
Best thing to do is to rent a bike for an hour and take a walk around the lagoon. If you do this slowly you can see the details surrounding the lagoon and the city (streets that are around the lagoon) and observe the architecture of the buildings (nothing of historical or architectural terms, but still worth for those who...
