Lagoa Rodrigo de Freitas This lake has quite nice view on Corvado and Rio. You can enjoy Aqua games as the waterball and pedal. You have games for children. And the most great thing is that you can run all around the lake. (7.5km). It's one of the best place of Rio where you can see the mountain going into... More

The lake was only a short distance from where we were staying in Ipanema. We set out to walk around it one morning with all the joggers and other walkers. There's a lot to see with the tennis club, the rowing club and a couple of heli pads. On one side is a lovely park where you can get drinks... More

In my opinion, one of the most beautiful places I've seen in Rio de Janeiro. Many bikes to rent and a beautiful path that surrounds the lagoon. Don't miss this view or you'll regret!

I love the lake! It sits in a very nice area of Rio near Ipanema beach and it is easy to get to and you might see it going to many site seeings in Rio because the main traffic flows through one side to go to the beaches. The lake is a great place to walk in the early evening... More

This is an amazing place to visit. The view is fantastic and you have a place to work out. Here you can run around the lake, cycle, jogging, skate, or go in a paddle boat. All these activities are done mainly on Sundays. The view is very beautiful all around it and very different from each one. One of its... More

It is a batufiul lagon, located in the heart of the richest region in Rio, surrounde by the Ioanema, Leblon, Lagoa, Jardim Botanico and Gávea neighborhoods. Around it threre is a bycikce and running trail, many open spacesand sport courts, including a bowl for skaters and a dog park. Also, there are many restaurants amd food sellers nearby. One of the most beautiful views of Rio and nice for outdoor activities such as cycling, jogging, skating etc, though the water is not clean, wich is a pitty. Definetely a must-go in Rio.

If you like to practice outdoor sports, the lagoon offers a great environment. You can ride your bike for a round the lake ride of 7 Km; there are also skateboard pools and tennis courts among other attractions. But maybe the nest one is to watch the sundown in the afternoon. In addition to sports, there are restaurants all around... More
