We took the kids today. Given that it's a free museum I wasn't expecting much, but the building was absolutely gorgeous and you can see the old vaults - remnants from its days as a bank. The Picasso exhibit was great. The kids loved it and two hours zoomed by. Get there early though. We arrived around 10 and had... More

I've been there on a rainy Saturday, and it takes more than 30 mins. There are some interesting things and decorations, we wanted to take pics with my friend, but they didnt came out well because we werent allowed to use flash, which is a pity. On that day they hosted aero exibhition, was quite interesting. Well, anyway it is... More

This museum is in a pretty nice building just little bit far from the center. I definitely reccomend to check what kind of temporary exhibition they have.

It is a very neat place, friendly staff but quite insistent with the prohibition of taking pictures, they do not even allow to usea mobile phone without flash, a shame ... The store at the entrance is very expensive

Really nice building and expositions - they are presenting one about Picasso and another one with a few pictures of Rio taken in 1909 (August 2015). Notice the building used to be a bank, so the doors to some exposition rooms are still the safe-deposit box doors. Expositions are free of charge.

Every time a go to Rio the CCBB has a good exhibit. This time is Picasso. The amount of works is not big neither are his best works but it worth the visit. The waiting line is long and it is better to go early in the morning. The CCBB is in a old building and the elevators are still... More
