Very nice place to spend an hour or two. It's a very large, formally manicured garden with beautiful, giant, old trees. The orchid house is phenomenal--dozens of species all in bloom. Reach it by bus from the Zona Sul. more

Visited Rio's Botanical Garden in December of 2005. It looks like the garden has not received adequate care in years. Most plants were in dire need of water and care.
