The trip is in two stages, and there are tourist facilities, shop, toilets, cafe both half way up and at the top. The views all round are amazing, but do try to choose a day... More

Definitely go to the top via the second vehicular. Terrific views of Rio and the beaches and city. If the day is clear head up early.

It has great views of the city! The trip in the cable cars could be a little hot but it only take a few minutes. You can take great pictures of the city!

Great views, and a bit of an experience getting there via 2 cable cars. We went at peak time of the season & didn't have to wait long, do it yourself & not through a tour, and have a copy of your passport if you are able to receive concessions, as even if you are 90 & look 90 you... More

Amazing views, one of the best to take pictures from. If you are afraid of heights, you might feel a little dizzy, as you have to take two cable cars up to the mountain, and once up there you are pretty much on top on a big rock. But it will be totally worth it! A must see in Rio!

Well worth the time and lines to see Rio from atop Sugarloaf. Go early in the morning or late in the day for the quickest queues.
