This is an extremely popular attraction but the system of cable cars is very well organised keeping queues to a minimum, once up the mountain the views over Rio are stunning, The services are very good.

I was great - despite the heat. It is well run and the views are amazing. I did not experience long lines that is often described in the guide books.

Went with my buddy during the 2014 WC and glad I did. My friend did not care to see this natural wonder as he just wanted to watch Germany Vs Portugal game. There are three levels to get to the very top and at the second level we stopped and had some awesome food and watched the game. Try the... More

We went around 4pm, so after waiting in line, riding up to the various levels and taking our time taking photos and taking in the scenery, we ended up at the very top at nightfall and watched the rolling hills below come alive with the glow of Rio's lights. Simply breathtaking! Experience was better than Corcavado in my opinion.

Unbelievable views of Rio de Janeiro. Definitely a must if you are in Rio. Views of all of the beaches and mountains of Rio as well as the Christ the Redeemer statue. Highly recommended to go at sunset.

The two-stage cable car which takes one to the top rolls over strong iron cables, tracked by a cog-wheel system. Once at the top of the Sugarloaf Mountain, the view is spectacular - the city of Rio de Janeiro, the famous beaches and the meeting of Guanabara bay and the Atlantic Ocean waters are simply superb.
