I don't think we picked a good day to go because it was SO overcast and cloudy but anyway from what we could see it was beautiful! The cable car ride was magical! The views were stupendous, and there were a lot of activities going on between the peaks. Definitely a must see when in Rio. The sunset could have... More

Liked the views. Late afternoon provides the best lighting. Cable car travel did not bother me but someone with motion or claustrophobic issues could have a problem. It is a short trip up, thankfully.

I love the view but i advise you to go in a clear day (not cloudy) to get the most of your experience! I love the animals and the place i was not very crowded!

Went in May which is not peak season. There were a lot of people but queues moved fast. The views are spectacular. There are places to eat and shops to buy souvenirs etc. There are also a lot of benches around for people to sit and relax. We went 1 and a half hours before sunset, which i would recommend... More

One of the references of Rio de Janeiro. Provides marvellous views over town. The trip by cable car, divided in two steps, is for itself a good experience. You can take the cable car to both slopes - the first slope is called Urca Slope (Morro da Urca) and then the second one, which is the actual Sugar Loaf (Pão... More

I´ve been there 12 times, and if you invite me i go again, for sure. Amazing view from sea and city, try to stay there to see the sunshine, and the planes landing at Santos Dumont airport, depending of the wind, the planes pass below you very close to the sugar loaf.

You will enjoy everything in Rio, do as much touring as possible, plus make sure you get in some beach time.

Best to go there in the morning, less people in the queue. Beautiful views of the city. Nothing to dislike if you can avoid the masses.
